- Urban myths and local legends are all stories used to explain the unexplainable bad things that have happened. None of it happened, and it's just nonsense to use for scary stories during sleepovers or campfires...right? Wrong the Adversary is real...and we're going to prove it. Is that just the fog and shadows over there not some sinister looking...what do you mean you saw it too? Let's not let our minds play tricks...No...I don't hear anything...well maybe...are those footsteps? It's just us here... wait...something else is here with us... I don't like this let's get out of here!! Wait we didn't lock the door! Why'd you lock it? What do you mean the car won't start? What's going on!!!!
We’ll take a look at Stifling Dark and check out some of the components, player actions, and gameplay. Of course, I’ll share my thoughts and look forward to your comments on whether you may or may not back it on Kickstarter.

So the adversary has all the items on his mini board and when the players use their flashlights he moves it from his board to theirs if they see it?
Yes that is correct.
Do you have a longer playthrough?
I do not are there questions I could help with?
@@LearntoPlayGames no I just wanted to se more of the play.
@@BbBb-zx6sx Lance typically does abbreviated playthroughs like this for people that don't necessarily want to watch a full playthrough, which is part of the reason we picked him since it was so unique!
If you want a full playthrough there are a couple of them out there, including one (soon to be two) on our own channel. Hope that helps!
@@sophcerb Hello, what is the replayability level of the game? You shared a video in the old updates section and the person in the video said that the replayability level is low. Doesn't replayability mean not getting bored of the game? After all, the more elements in the game, the more fun you will have and you will not get bored. Am I wrong?
@@floweyblowey1264 Thanks for asking! Not sure which video you're referring to, but the copies we sent out to reviewers were the base version of the game and didn't have any of the stretch goals we unlocked during the Kickstarter. The old version had a single adversary and map, but even in that version the adversary has multiple different attacks and abilities to choose from and each map has multiple escape routes, so each game will be different (especially since you never know what the other side will do to mess with your plans).
Our final production version will have 2 different maps, 3 different adversaries, and 10 different investigators, so there is a ton of variability and replayability. Combine that with the different escape routes each map has, along with the numerous attacks and abilities each adversary can choose from, and you can certainly spice things up from game to game.
Hopefully that helps clarify!
I think need more of a game overview before you go into all of the wound and stalk cards.
Thanks for the feedback and for watching;)
