My father was an auto worker, union to the bone. He retired with benefits and medical. This was the 50s and 60s.
I love this!
Union strong! Strong labor involvement is a positive for our economy and good for workers! Happy that my fellow Millennials and Gen Z are pushing for stronger labor rights!
I've been a Finish Carpenter for 27 years, in the state I'm in there isn't a Union. I got nothing to show for it except aches and pains.
I have been encouraging young people to learn a trade for a long time. So this is great, great news!!!! ❤
Gen Z might want to remember that it might feel like a win in the short term, but let's not forget how many industries have struggled to stay afloat under the weight of union demands.
I thought GOP is against socialism?
Amen!❤
WTF is she wearing?
Belonged to a couple and was never a fan. The union president usually rewards himself richly. Also, they like to use strikes as a negotiation tool, I've seen people lose their jobs that way.
This is not something to be proud of.
