I like how Gears of War is included in this soundtrack since I’ve always said that maybe the reason Sera has humans on it is because they are in the same universe as Warhammer 40k and these humans just haven’t come in contact with the imperium...yet
I put GoW music mostly because it fits tonally and has that epic vibe to it. But the idea that Sera could be in 40k is also something I thought of before. It's not true of course, in any sense, but it may fit conceptually. Sera could be one of those off shoots in earlier times of humans expansion, during the Dark Age of Technology, and after the fall, they were left stranded and they lost their roots, believing that they originated there. Tho there are little bits of lore from the GoW books that would cancel this idea, but they are minor and for the purposes of fan imaginings can be overlooked.
Even bigger candidate for me personally though is the Dishonored universe. You can easily just take the whole setup and place it in 40k, without changing anything. The Void fits perfectly with the Warp.
I forgot how epic the GoW ost was.
And the reason they have so much stuff built around cogs is because they are immitating structures built by the mechanicus during the Age of strife

Random bit of trivia: What inspired this compilation's aesthetic and especially the background was the amazing chorus you can hear at 2:35:18. I was listening to it and was struck by how beautiful and unique it is. And while I experienced chills as the magical vocals washed over me I saw in my mind's eye the scene with the sister, surrounded by demons, almost felt her moment of transcendence. Immediately I felt strongly inspired to write her prayer first, and then paint the scene. It was one of the most taxing illustrations I did, although it may not look like it. Many thanks to everyone for positive compliments both on the video and the painting. Emperor bless you all!
The Emperor protects
One of my favorite 40k inspired compilation. Dont know how many times I have been listen of this, great work both visual and sound aesthetic.
I have to say, I originally stumbled here assuming (before reading anything) that you had some songs you liked and found some artwork to make a compilation and maybe make some cash on the side. The compilation by itself is really good, but the fact it's inspired by something you imagined *and then did artwork for* and it's effectively a soundtrack for it is fantastic! It's more like you used UA-cam as an art gallery and made it a multimedia piece. The real star of the show is actually the bit sadly many may miss (I had this on in the background at work and didn't read any comments until this 3rd replay).
If this is what you normally do then have my subscription! :D

Mechanicus soundtrack by far is one of the most underrated in video games.

Eternal Empire fits so well in 40K, both in name and song. That shit slaps so hard, especially the slowed down bits.
Children Of The Omnissiah is so damn epic I almost feel The Emperor!
it makes me unreasonably angry, because I always want to listen to something similar to it, but I can't ever find anything close enough to feel the same, without being basically the same song. But I feel like at some point I need to stop looping it.

Extremely awesome compilation. Loved every bit of it and the artwork was a great choice.
I love the version of "Ancient Rites" that you put in here. That extra bass to it makes it all the more enthralling.
In the last song "Let my Prayer Arise", as the camera pans out we see a sororita raising her hands while surrounded by chaos daemons (bloodletters). What I find really fitting is that the song can be translanted from latim as:

Wpf is especially versatile and easy to use with stuff like databinding

@@ProjectOsix c# WPF is the easiest to use, ship and deploy. For now it’s my goto Ui language.
It even supports basic 3d…

Great compilation. How did you manage to get such a high resolution of the artwork? Even the 16K version gets blurry when you zoom in on the aquila like you did in the beginning of the video.
It is just a compositing trick. There are 3 pictures overlaid to give the effect of the enormous size. But the 16k full image is the largest size.

Depends on the track, but this particular one, if you just type 'Colossal Trailer Music - Human Machine' on google, you'll get multiple results. :)

Haha thank you! Yeah I didn't properly credit him because he is me! And I didn't think of it much in that regard. But I painted the image, wrote the prayer and compiled the video. :)

I'm glad though that you are the artist, as I am writing a WH40K story inspired by your art, and if I could, I'd like to quote from the prayer you wrote as well. Hope that it will eventually be published at Cold Open Stories. (They publish high-quality stories and audio dramas, all in the WH40K universe [not for profit])
