    CATCHAHAWG teaches you how to catch more Crappie, Catfish, and Bass. I have been a full time Lake Fork Guide since February 1996 and I want to share with you my fish catching secrets that I have accumulated after all these years on the lake. Lake Fork is known all over the world for it’s trophy bass fishing. However, Lake Fork is full of giant crappie, blue catfish and flathead catfish. On this channel we are going to teach you the techniques that I as a Lake Fork Guide use to catch these species. Please hit the SUBSCRIBE button and don’t forget to hit the bell so you don’t miss out on any upcoming videos. Thank you for your support.
    Sharing fishing tips to help you catch more fish each time you get out on the lake.

    I can truly say I miss your videos. Being stuck in the house due to weather really sucks. Going along with you on your trips is puts the mind at ease. Keep up the good work.

      I agree with you. I prefer the cast/slow retrieve as well especially in the shallower water. 👍

    Another good video. I saw you out on quitman the other day. We have been getting pounded by wind lately. I thought it might be a bit early to cast to them but I'll sure try, Thanks bud.

    Good info about better to have a creek channel nearby. There’s a lake by the house that has a creek channel running right down the middle of it. But it’s about 150 yards to the shore. A 5ft deep flat with more stumps than you can shake a stick at… is there an easy way to narrow down where they’ll be? Or do you shake a stick at every stump? 😂

    • @CATCHAHAWG
      @CATCHAHAWG  Рік тому +1

      I would first look for them on side imaging if you have it. If not, then casting by or dropping by each stump will get it done too. Look for bends and bigger root systems if you can find them. Keep me posted on how it goes.

      @@CATCHAHAWG definitely will. Didn’t know side scan would work well in 5ft. Do doubt I need to learn my electronics better. Have the 93sv echomap

    • @CATCHAHAWG
      @CATCHAHAWG  Рік тому +1

      @@Eyesofthasouth just be sure to adjust the range to about double the depth and you should be able to find them 👍
