Yeah, I've been thinking about that a lot as a prospective student at AU. As a white guy, I'm not trying to get told everyday that "my kind" are the problem and yada yada yada. Due to the smaller size of the classes, it might even force you to engage in this backwards rhetoric a bit. I'm certainly not pleased with the idea, but I do know there are lots of opportunities at AU, which is why I'm very interested in going.
@@IreneZGoodman I have no issue with learning about racism, in fact I encourage people to learn about it, in that same breath I'd say the age old line of "knowing one's history can prevent them from repeating it." I just think it's incredibly dangerous to teach it in a way that demonizes modern white people.

1 DEI class isn't half the core curriculum. And if you are upset that the effects and history of racism is being taught, you should think about why.
