The Trümmelbach Falls are series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain , made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, you can either visit all waterfalls by stairs or go halfway through funicular.
Trummelbach waterfalls drainage area is about 24 square kilometres , half of it is covered by snow and glaciers. The falls carry up to 20,000 litres of water per second.
It is one of the UNESCO world natural heritage site.
You will require minimum 1 -1.5 hour to complete the visit. So if you are visiting Lauterbrunnen, Murren or Schilthorn then you can easily cover this site as well in the same day.
How to reach Trummelbach falls?
Trummelbachfall is situated in Lauterbrunnen valley between Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg. It can be reached by car or by bus. The bus runs every 30 minutes and takes 10 minutes from either of the towns.
Bus ticket cost 4.4 franc and is included in the Swiss travel pass.
Entrance Ticket Price / Fare :
Entrance ticket cost is 14 franc and you will not get any discount with any pass.

Can you get train back to Interlaken from here?
I think there is no direct train, You can take bus to Lauterbrunnen and then train from there to Interlaken

Nice video! Is there an itinerary for your Swiss trip?
Here is our Itinerary :
Day 1- Travelled from Paris to Montreux - visited Chateau de Chillon, took golden pass route to reach to Interlaken (which was our base for 3 nights)
Day 2- Visited Grindelwald first & in evening strolled around Interlaken city
Day 3- Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Gimmelwald & Trummelbachfall falls. (Back to Interlaken in evening.
Day 4- Reached Zermatt (we stayed for 1 night here) & visited Gornergrat.
Day 5- Travelled to Lucerne (which was base for next 3 nights) (Took Glacier express from Zermatt to Andermatt & then via Gotthard bahn panoramic train reached Lucerne) , strolled around the city Lucerne in evening.
Day 6 - visited Mount Titlis & back to Lucerne in evening
Day 7 - Visited Mount Rigi & mount Stanserhorn back to Lucerne in evening
Day 8 - boat tour in Lake Brienz (deboarded at Interlaken) & then from Interlaken travelled straight to Geneva by train. (strolled around the lake in Geneva) & in evening took the train to Paris.

So even after taking the elevator and funicular there are lot of steps to negotiate (up and down)? Is this doable by a senior?
Funicular takes you to the middle, there are lot of stairs up and down.
you can skip the upper part and takes stairs to down.
