There is no better place to be than the mountains. This looks like a lovely town. I really hope to make it back up into Canada again. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
In 1980 (Aug 6th) moving my family to Vancouver we could not get a motel room but the owner guided us to a what I would describe as a Million $$$ family cabin located on a river where the owners welcomed us and oh my what a beautiful place and they treated us so well and at little cost. Canmore is "BEAUTIFUL."!
Stunning scenery and brilliant cinematics. Looks like an incredible area to visit... I know what you mean about "Are we there yet?" :-) I also like the set you have for doing your face-to-camera scenes... Enjoyed this one !
Beautiful video. Brings back memories of our stay in Canmore several years ago. Beautiful area and a great staging location to explore other areas like Banff and Lake Louise. Awesome Karen.
Thank you for the great vids. I have been researching Alberta particularly the Kananaskis area as I am going on a horse packing trip with moose mountain adventures near Bragg Creek so your videos are so so helpful
What a great video - Love the story of the man with his dog. Lots of hiking trails - would love to Hike one of those. Thank you for showing us this beautiful place!
Canmore is more more to my liking. I would rather stay away from the bigger crowds Banff has. Thanks for sharing this beautiful location and it's is added to my bucket list. Have a good day!
I've heard about it but I've spent several months in Sechelt, BC and LOVED it....I really really loved Canada and especially the people! Been to Vancouver and Victoria Island too. (PS: fellow UA-camr here if you remember me ;)
My family just visited there last month and it was scary of those local residents there they're not friendly, the way they treat visitors like discrimination , they're racists , we will never forget hard Time in there. Evil people.

Canmore is so pretty, and I love that they have a Canadian tire
Canadian Tire for the win! They should sponsor us we love them so much! I was just there today.

I appreciate the lovely note, thank you! I love how wild the whole area is and so different from the busy centre Banff is.

Beautiful. I'd love to park my sleeper van somewhere nearby & explore.
So much to explore!

Amazing drone footage! How was the permitting process to film that?
Absolutely beautiful!! I’m trying to convince my boyfriend to make the 10hr drive to visit lol thanks for sharing 😄
Have fun! So much for couples to do there.
That’s nice to hear how to avoid the crush of tourists which can ruin the experience
That's the charm of Canmore. It's perfect!
Great video so well done
Thank you very much!
Gorgeous Karen!

Of course I remember you! 👋 Thank you for the lovely comment. Love the west coast too and I never get to spend enough time there.
The photo of the golf course is definitely not a Canmore course. Looks like the Banff Springs.
Are you affiliated with Basecamp?
What is Basecamp?
Hi! If your a tourist coming in from other large cities please be respectful bc when i see rude arrogant tourists its extremely annoying!
Just back from Canmore. I heard Banff wasn’t the same as the one I last visited in the 80s. Canmore is the new Banff. Loved it! 😊
I'm so glad you had a great time!
@@ExploringCanadaInfo thanks!
Did you meet up with Mike?
Mike from Canmore! The legend! LOL Not this trip, maybe next time. LOL

I'm sorry you had that kind of experience. 😔
