- Today we share with everyone a dream that has been planned for a long time. A dream that today is a reality that with #passion, perseverance, dedication and focus shows that any #limit is in you.
David Marchetti has surpassed his limits. #Swimming alone without any external support for 28,190 feet / 8,592 meters, spending more than 10 hours submerged. We are proud to have been part of such a challenge supporting him with our #Bonassi diving gear.

I would like for him to have explained what equipment he was using and what was his reason for it since couldn’t you have technically just used a rebreather been a hell of alot easier on you since u can use a rebreather way way longer then open

Agreed. Long swim, but except for a short stretch it was not solo. He had support divers with spare tanks. The short section he did unsupported (solo) was not that long. I've done much longer solo dives. Many have done longer than I have. Also confused, but I don't dive for records.
