We love your guys content! You were one of the inspirations behind us rebranding our channel!
Glad you like. Thanks for watching.
You are welcome! Let us know when you put out another video!
The lazy river was wonderful!!
Yes it is. I went around and around just relaxing.
Can you use the lazy river if you stay at Mayan Palace ?
Awesome place !! Thank you for sharing
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
BOOMER...I seen the OU hat while in the Lazy River! Great video
Thanks for watching! BOOMER SOONER! Can hardly wait for football season. OU women's softball team #1 and awsome.
I loved the buffet at La Plaza. Ate breakfast there every morning
Last time we were there they had a great deal on dining. They had coupon books you could buy which made eating at the restaurant a lot cheaper than paying for your meal each time you ate. Since we ate in town a lot we didn’t get to use most of the coupons it was a great deal though.
Thanks for watching. They did not have such coupon books that I saw when we were there this last time but they had one the time before.
What a beautiful place! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
it is very beautiful 🤗
My husband and I are at the Resort right now it is amazing the fruit and vegetables to die for they do not taste the same. The whole place is top of the line 5 stars to Danny D 😁
Thanks for watching. We are going back in 3 months with the whole family. Enjoy!
Loved your video. Thanks. We just booked 8 days there about an hour ago. Going later in the year.
Thanks for watching. It was more limited this visit due to the virus restrictions but still worth it. Recommend taking a taxi to the Walmart to get groceries if you want food in the room. Have fun. We will produce 2 - 3 more videos from our trip.
FYI we recommend the day-long excursion by Vallarta Adventures tour to Escaletas for around $140 per person. Takes you by boat across the bay to Escaletas and includes all you can drink, a lunch buffet, zip lining, paddle boarding, canoeing and other activities with optional activities like parasailing which we did (at additional cost). At Vidanta they have concierge service where you can book this and other excursions.
Also be careful at the airport as there are many people and booths that will lie to you and say they are from Vidanta but are from other hotel/timeshares. Go past them and go to the Vidanta counter which is at the end of the hall near the exit on the left side.
@@TravelswithJoeEly Amazing. thanks
I go to Puerto Vallarta Mexico every January
Great, Puerto Vallarta is an amazing place.
@@TravelswithJoeEly Yes it is 😃
Paradise ❤️ love the video guys 👏👏👏
❤️❤️❤️
My sister and I stayed in the same suite. My Dad is a timeshare owner. I wound up sleeping on the couch in living area.
We are staying here in Sept, Can I ask what tower you stayed in? I love the view
Thanks for watching! We stayed in the second tower of the Grand Mayan
The grand Mayan 2-7-2021
Great video
Thank you sir!
It looks beautiful, I'm going with my family in two weeks, I see that it has a kitchen, where did you buy all the groceries? Is there a supermarket near? Or you brought it with you? Did you have access to all the facilities? I can't wait to be there thanks to your video!
Hi Ed. Thank you very much for watching. We posted 2 videos last year from our visit April 2019 along with the one this year. We are going to post 2 - 3 more, including a funny one with our little dinosaur friends.
There is a market, dessert shop, liquor store, clothing store, and pharmacy on site but all are very expensive. Not all the restaurants are open but still have some variety such as an Asian, Mexican, Italian restaurant and a buffet. The pools are all open for everyone. When we were there a month ago the beach was open but the tables/chairs were not available. Sometimes they close the beach because of stingrays or crocodiles.
We had a great time with plenty of space in our suite. We took a taxi for around $6 to Walmart in town and bought many groceries and cooked several meals in our room. I suggest you do the same. Be aware liquor sales end at 9pm so go early if you wish to purchase alcohol. I enjoyed the lazy river best of all.
We stayed at the Grand Mayan at Vidanta. There are several hotels on site. They will push you to do a free breakfast/timeshare presentation and can be quite convincing. Read reviews prior to going to see if it is for you. It is not for us and if not for you leave quickly as they will try to keep you and you will waste several hours. It may be a good deal but many reviews are negative.
Have fun! We will be going back in the future.
Joe

@@TravelswithJoeEly Thanks for the info on that. I really appreciate it.
@@TravelswithJoeEly Did you need to take a covi-19 test before going to PV?
@@cherifolk5522 Hi Cheri. We did not require a test prior. There is a document you can print prior to leaving or you can get one upon arrival at the airport that you fill out. Your temperature is taken as well.
Is it all inclusive?
@AmlerMalt Thanks for watching. It is not all-inclusive
Hello! Is this a Master Suite ? And can You tell me how expensive is the food , We are going to be there for 8 days..Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. As you know things are changing (hopefully for the better) because of the easing of the pandemic. We had a 2 bedroom suite that had 2 large bedrooms, they both had full bathrooms. More than adequate space. Hopefully more restaurants are open when you go. The Mexican restaurant was normally priced. As usual the Asian restaurant will be more expensive. There are other restaurants that are moderately priced and hopefully when you go there is a all you can eat buffet on the beach. Enjoy your trip!!
Hello, I got a question for you guys. We are going to Nuevo Vallarta in a few days. Could you tell us if people are swimming in the ocean. Are beaches open?
Hi. We did not spend time on the beach as they had roped off the lounge chairs and tables. We just walked a little. There were a few people in the water or laying on the sand. Sometimes they close the beach for fear of crocodiles due to it being rainy season. We did excursions which will be featured in another video coming out soon. Good luck and have fun!

Thank you Joe and Ely, we are leaving tomorrow!
Hi, thanks for the video. My family and I are going next week. Did you attend the timeshare presentation? Also do you take a taxi from airport or did you arrange transportation with Vidanta?
We had a complimentary ride through Vidanta because we purchased a trial vacation package. If you attend a timeshare and do not wish to purchase or waste the better part of a day then be stern and walk away from the presenters. They will be persistent.
Taxis are readily available for around $5.00 dollars.
Good luck and have a great time!
My apologies, the taxi ride we took from Vidanta to the airport cost around $10 NOT $5. We took a taxi to the Walmart in Nuevo Vallarta and that was around $7 each way and we bought many groceries to cook and eat in our suite. The taxi driver may wait for you at Walmart for additional cost. They stop selling alcohol at 9pm at the stores.
@@TravelswithJoeEly thank you for the information
Vidanta will usually give you a free ride to the resort, but you have to arrange a ride back to the airport or anywhere else you wish to travel at your own expense. Vidanta has their own contracted fleet of unmarked taxis. Usually all white.
you have to visit the new
hi, how did you get from Vidanta to Bucerias?
Thanks for watching. We took a taxi. I don't remember what the cost was but it wasn't much, probably around $10 each way.
Did you choose to put masks or were they mandated?
This video was filmed In Sept. of 2021 when masks were mandatory but many guests did not adhere to it. I don't think the mandate is current now. We will be going to Vidanta again this month and do not expect masks to be mandatory.
Thanks for watching.

Whatever happened to you viadanta Circus theme park
They are still building it. We saw much construction and they were testing the above ground people mover when we were there in September. We were there in April 2019 and see the progress from then until Sept. 2020.
