I suddenly remember my grandma. she used to sing this when she hears me singing while I massage her feet. It's our bond that I took for granted when I was still little. I used to run away from her because I don't want to give massage most of the time haha...but now that her time came to an end...all I can do is wish to get back to that time when she's still with us. so guys, never take the time for granted. love and hug your grandma, grandpa especially your parents. even your siblings. because they won't stay on our side forever. just a reminders 😊

It was really tough for her to face life without my grandpa. my aunt told us that she's been crying and calling out for my grandpa's name at night in their room for years before she died. I was amazed that she managed to stay loyal to my grandpa for 21-22 years. she died last year 2019. and my grandpa died at the year 1997. after her death, I sometimes imagine them seeing each other again, getting back to their younger selves, then my grandpa will kiss her forehead as they hug each other so tightly. It brings so much joy to my heart. It helped me to recover from the pain of her death ☺️☺️☺️

It got worse over the years, but I still adored spending time with her. Even if she could not talk back, I would go on for hours telling her about what had happened since I last saw her. She would listen to this song, exactly this song, every time I saw her. Elvis Presley was her favorite artist by far, and it couldn't help but impress that love for him onto me. She eventually wanted me to learn this song on the ukulele for her, so, I did so. I had never touched an instrument in my life before that, but I did it for her. I learned the song all on my own, and when I went back to see her, I played it for her. This sparked my love of music, and I took on many more over the years. She also imprinted her massive obsession for cows onto me, hah! Sadly, she not-so-suddenly passed away last year, on the week of my birthday, after battling serious illnesses she was prone to due to her weak state. Every time I listen to this song, I cry so many tears. It is a happy song for me, of course, but I just miss her. I wish I could just give her one last hug and tell her I love her more than she could ever know. I want her to know I look up to her every day, and every single time I play a song, I play it for her. I love you, grandma. I really and truly love you with all my heart can possibly give, and I hope you're up there, wherever you are, looking down on me and telling me I can be what I want to be, who I want to be, and I am worth having such a lucky life to have.
