Mikey Williams has got some serious talent and confidence. I can’t wait to see how he grows at Memphis. He just needs to some strict coaching so he’s not doing reckless things to keep the other team in the game. Him and JJ get away with too much on their current team.
Seems like the coach is afraid to crack down on them. Imagine how killer they would be if the coach would act like a coach instead of someone who is glad to have these two on the team. this is why i been saying bronny will always be better than mikey as a basketball player... bronny's attacking skills have improved a lot over the years but the difference between him and mikey is their defence. not only does bronny get back to play defence, he's actually good at it, while mikey won't even bother to run back to defence and isn't that great at it either.

Mikey Williams has some offense but his court awareness isn't there yet. Why is going 1 on 4 to the rim? There's more to the game than just shooting, he has to develop some court savvy, especially at his height to orchestrate the team's offense.

Mikey Williams is far from an average basketball player lol. It’s the coaching issue here. They play a free flow run and gun offense through JJ and Mikey. Which looks lazy and reckless at first glance. Mikey is talented enough to play in different systems that allow him to get the ball in his spots or run the fast break.
