I was so lucky to have one. My grandfather knew how much I loved horses. When he passed, in his will he left money specifically for me to get a horse. I was 9 and bought a 5yr old Arabian. We grew up together u til he passed at 30yrs old. It kept me out of trouble and taught me patience and responsibility. It was the best gift I ever received. ❤️

There's a longer video of him feeding a carrot 🥕 to the horse, Mum even offers words of wisdom so little boy doesn't get hurt. Probably the horse gets carrots quite often which is why it's really so keen to turn up 😁

The horse’s response is the slightest involuntary little flinch…and then back to that adoring posture, with her head right down at his level. The horse simply digs that kid.
That is true that's why some keep a goat pony alpaca or burro in the horse's field and they usually become friends and hang out together. They don't seem to mind it being a different species
