- As this apparatus will run as an engine and heavy duty rescue squad, the Kentland Volunteer Fire Department from the state of Maryland, carefully thought out each compartment to assure that no space was wasted. Due to the proximity of the homes to the streets in their area, each of the trays in the front bumper will have 150’ of 1.5” hose with a fog nozzle, replacing the typical crosslay area with storage for portable hose bags. Kentland’s rescue pumper also features a winch point in the front and low hosebed in the rear.

Everybody loves Kentland!
@@marylandsirensfirebuff9664 No the fuck they dont...😂
Good choice. I love the Arrow XTs. I'm more of a Seagrave, Spartan and Sutphen guy.
@@Annnton17 I've had no problems with our Spartan. That being said, I'm a strongly Pierce guy. I like my velocity more than the Spartan
I see you went with the short cab doors in case you're up close to the jersey barriers or vehicles on tight streets. Very smart choice. However, why didn't you go with the roll up compartment doors? It appears in the video that the compartment doors are lower and will not be able to be opened if you're close to the jersey barriers or parked vehicles. Just asking?
Yeah, that made no sense to me
No crosslays, I approve!
Mike Gaskin cross lays are so much better than bumper lines I would never get rid of my cross lays
@@brendendonais8422 You ever seen crosslays mounted on the bumper? They look awesome.
Is this the rig that burned at a warehouse fire?
Also what happened to the firefight that suffered terrible burns to his hand. Is he still active with the department?
Richard clarke this truck replaced up the burned up rig
Nice!!
#Seagrave
Extraordinary that so many fire people (and cops) are bland and dull as they drone on and on with their stilted jargons and fifth-grade language paks burbling howlers galore and the truly awful, stunted vocabularies of Amerika's low-flying underclass. What's the deal? Is everybody riding these rigs dumber than dust? They sound so much like the standard-issue military gronks--both officers and enlisted--who've managed to trash what little war-fighting expertise Amerika may once have had which, admittedly, wasn't much to start with.Jus' sayin'.
w chaput what the fuck are you saying?
Firefighting is one of those jobs that appears a lot more glamorous than it truly is. It's also not nearly as dangerous as they like to portray it as. Firefighter death rates are around the same as office worker death rates, compared to many other jobs it does not even rate on the dangerous scale. You are also very correct in your statement Firefighting is by no mean an educated job anyone with a minimal education could be a firefighter. Because of television and movies and the news media firefighting has become one the most over rated jobs ever!
L CHAPUT Out of all retards that complain about our emergency services, this was more retarded
Are you still active on this channel?
@@daveboydell2896 Office workers don't usually get cancer from breathing nor do they often get smashed, burned, or otherwise face high chances of injury or death.
Is this guy super small? Or is this rig huge
its their new live burn training piece 😂
VERY disappointed that they went with pierce instead of seagrave.... shame....
+DerAnus Seagrave offers a way better model with extremely amazing quality
Why do you doubt me? lol my station runs both a seagrave and a pierce, and the seagrave is on its 20th year, and has had little to no problems, the 10 year old pierce has been in the shop many many times for technological issues, motor issues, pump problems.... etc. this is all stuff that pierce in known for
+Joe Wesolowski My department runs a all Segrave fleet. we had a pierce engine and it kinda blew up on is and we went back to Seagrave because we have very little problems. now, depending on how much your truck sits between runs will also depend on which truck is better
Joe Wesolowski The Insurance had them get a newer model from the old RESENG33.
Joe Wesolowski im just disappointed that they use fog nozzles and not smooth bore
is this the rig that replaced the engine that caught fire while on scene of the wear house fire?

Love Kentland 33 great firehouse my dad goes and rides with em sometime for a ride along
It would be nice to see the truck from a distance; maybe 15-feet away to appreciate the overall appearance.
Nice looking firetruck and Rescue. I was a volunteer fireman for St. Helens Oregon.
