I am playing Remix exclusively, so I wouldn't mind more videos about Remix. LOL.
Remix is soooo close to being an 11/10. I think you spelled out the issues out well though. Blizzard just won't allow it to be. It's a binary choice. Either allow characters to get to the point where they can solo M Garrosh ezpz or set up the guard rails. They just keep swapping between them
I would love to see a video about the buttonbloat. Why is wow dps rotation so god damn complex. I feel like the game would be more fun if did not have to research every class I'd like to play on the Web. We even have addons helping with sorting out dps rotation. Such as hekali. What is skillcapeds take on this and on hekali?
More remix🎉❤. I love this event, i like the grind. Got every mount now and almost every transmog i like. Have tried out new classes, have 7 alts. My main is max geared. Have almost every gear as well from the currency you get from doing Soo on mythic and heroic. Will play some moore on my main and then i might do 2 moore alts. We will see, maybe i take a break idk but its lots of fun!
At this point I’d like to start seeing ideas for pvp and pve with the beta. If not now closer time launch
I am sure Remix is heaps of fun for the people who went hard and got mega upgraded. As someone who didn't, it's just been an okay alt leveling experience to get a bunch of allied races to 50 so I can do their heritage armour quests and a nice revisit of Pandaria. I am in the process of being carried through Heroic raids for my Bones of Mannoroth by OP players and I do no damage and might as well not be there. Bless the 'charity run' hosts lol.
As a WoW dad, I'm enjoying everything. I've cleared half the raids on heroic in mop remix, and got most achievements done. Ive also cleared every DF raid heroic and just building up ilvl with m+ to go mythic raid. By then I'll go back to remix and finish off what's left for me to complete
"low participation" but I just got KSM tonight. no problems getting into keys as a healer, so I'd argue it's not quite dead yet!
Got all the mounts and mogs, why would you continue. I got it all done in about 2 weeks.

i trust blizz just slightly more than cryprobros to provide anything of lasting value. not to say i can't enjoy the game.
they can giveth and taketh away at a whim, so i don't work too hard at anything unless i enjoy the process.
i enjoyed remix. powering up was fun, finally seeing what a character with fully capped 2ndaries & tertiaries is like was fun, stepping in like supaman to carry a failing raid is fun, the mindless speedruns are honestly a grind i'm very familiar with and find pleasant too, although usually in the context of a rare drop and the guaranteedness of bronze wasn't unwelcome. i was very pleased to grab the heirlooms that i'd wished i'd gotten before, and if i cared about mogs, i'd be pretty happy there too.
it would be a disaster if blizz made current-mainstream-wow so mindless, but i don't think they intend to. it's just a nice way to revisit old content and finally lower the bar on getting some desired items, and experiment a little. hard content has its place, nerfin the shit outta old stuff and mindlessly running roughshod over it and giving away formerly hard to get stuff has its place too.

I don’t get your idea of it not being alt friendly. There are many things in remix you can only do once a day and you won’t get anything extra by doing it again. If you have alts, you can then do those things multiple times a day to get the same reward multiple times per day. If the intention is to get bronze to buy vendor stuff, then having more than 1 character is definitely more efficient than doing everything on one?

Remix is silly. It's like... if you enjoy chess, but don't want to play an evenly matched opponent and instead set a chess computer to such low level that you can dominate it every game. Then play it over and over. You're not learning anything, not getting better, and the outcome of every game is predetermined. Maybe it's therapy for players who are tired of challenge? To me it gets boring really fast.

Remix for me is EXTREMELY dull but levelling an alt in like 5 hours is an amazing opportunity.
you can do it in under 3 if you tank or heal, have a friend to trade your gems via and let the Bonus XP loot go to your mailbox until you get the first 4 normal raids in.
I shot up from 46-70 opening my mail box with just under 400%xp gain on cloak.
You could even get time played lower if you do it over a few days and get more normal raids in.
ugh i fall asleep playing remix I hope it never comes back. It's just another FOMO mode.
Remix is hilarious. In a setting where the whole point of the main story is fighting against inner demons and controlling them, it is bringing the worst out of the players.
Any group content is just ruined at this point as it immediately becomes a race to the end by the power mongers.
"With great power comes great abuse of power" should be the headline of the event and it is definitely NOT fun.
P.S. I say these as a guy with 2 chars that can solo heroic raids. I refuse to give in; I still help others and stay away from go-go-go/power show off.

I'm been thinking on what type of comment to write. Did you report on the remix, yes, but not in a nice way. It was more of you just complaining about it. Is remix fun, yes if you pick certain classes or just don't over all care. Are dungeons, heroic and normal, easy, very. One or two players are able to run heroic dungeons for the most part without help. This leaves the rest of the group out. It happened a few times with me but when I brought it up the group waited before pulling the boss. Why because if you get to far ahead and the boss is killed then the others will not get the kill credit so no loot. It the people that don't care about the other that is making the remix a bad experience. Those players can just run into the dungeon themselves without a group but if they did that then the dungeon wouldn't be "easy" for them. This type of player started off small but now there are a lot more and even more that don't care about their group.
Is the idea behind the remix to allow players to get grind how they want and get transmogs and mounts and give them another way to level, this is the fastest way I found to level. Does it need to be "alt" friendly. Defind "alt" friendly. Can you level up alts fast, yes. So it makes it more "alt" friendier than anything else in live. If you are trying for mythic raids and getting certain achievements then stick to one character. You don't need to do it on all characters. Most achievements are becoming fully base on your account and not characters so does it matter if you completed all raids in the remix on mythic for more than one character, no.
The remix is fun and Blizzard is trying to let us have fun but going from a fresh character to level 70 and having a powerful cloak in less than a day is to much.

You talk about blizzard like it's the same blizzard we've been dealing with. It's not though- the reason devs didn't see the farms coming is because they are new diversity hires that have no experience developing games. Also, now that good players are done with remix, blizz has increased threads and bronze for all the stragglers, which again shows that they hate good players and reward bad players/slow players more handsomely. Again. It's a trash game with trash devs and a trash community.
Yet here you are, watching videos on trash. Good life choice.

I also only did about an hour of frogs and lost 40% of my cloak... was only 372 iLvl too so was no where near being a "frogger" so like yourself it's people who only did a small amount of frog kills that got hurt by the roll back... the 476 froggers laughed at the cloak nerf and kept facerolling heroic raids while we play catchup. I am 476 now and have almost everything from remix event (just a few more ensembles to go)... I did unsub my 12 months and told them it was for nerfing my cloak and undoing days of progress in what was supposed to be a fun game mode. The way they worded their post was "the most extreme frog farmers" lmao if u even looked at a frog u got nerfed. Blizzard turned this into a clown show.
I played it for 2 weeks. It was fun. levelled 3 new chars to 70. Hate the entire visuals of china so dont care about mogs. Done. Unsubscribed since was capped on S4 M+ Will come back for next expansion.

Unfortunately the temp 'for fun' mode isn't very fun. Pressing W and one shotting bosses with no gameplay isn't fun.

@@justinmorris-x5n no, I quite liked Plunderstorm. If something sucks it's pretty reasonable to complain about it. I just think Remix descended into unfun nonsense in the span of a week and I dont understand how people find one shotting mobs 'fun' or when they have no control over 80% of their damage.
The grind ends as soon as you turn off your computer you just won’t get off wow and get a life
Grinded nonstop for the mannoroth tusks. This ate 3 weeks of my life. If they do this between every expac its gonna ruin my life 😂
