Thanks for your review. I'm in the US and train almost everyday for excersize on an outdoor court. And so far, I've gone through UA Drive, Nike KD Trey VII, and Adidas Marquee Boosts and they've all lasted about 8 months each. I just ordered my first pair of Asian Basketball shoes, Li Ning Sonic 7 Lows based on your video review hoping the rubber sole will be harder and last longer.
Keep these reviews coming on Asian brands. In the US real world reviews on Li Ning, and Anta are hard to come by.
Cool! looks like you like soft cushioning. For outsole durability Sonic 7 Low is not the best. Li-Ning Wade Shadow is a lot harder and more durable but Sonic 7 has a softer cushion. There's also Wade Shadow 2, looks like it has better cushion. The Shadow line is made specifically for outdoors. Btw I also had Kd Trey 5 VII before, lasted me about 3 months on rough concrete.
I'm from the US and hoop daily. The sonic 7 low is a 3 year old model. I have 2 pairs and have had my pairs of the shoe since 2019...and it's really an indoor shoe. Li Ning did make the Sonic 7 TB which I have been using since Halloween 2020...burned down 60% in 4 months..but still have about another month left in them. The Sonic 7 TB is a mid and has the Li Ning "TUFFRB" rubber which is meant specifically for outdoor. The shoe has durable material and LightFoam cushion. Pick up a pair on Amazon US. I have the Purple colorway. I'm not a shoe review guy but I do have photos of the Sonic 7 TB in action on my outdoor court.
Side note: I like Li Ning for outdoor shoes. I had a Zoom Freak1 that I burned down in 1 month of outdoor hooping (no complaints tho/good performance)...but yeah.. Li Ning has provided better durability and playability for outdoor. I'm using the Power 6 and the YuShuai 12 Black Blazers colorway the the Moment..this weekend I've been using the YuShuai 12 outdoors (used out there today). @@XIAObasketball I'm still targeting the new 2021 Shadow for outdoor trainings! As soon as I retire my more than halfway worn Sonic 7 TB and YuShuai 12 I'll scoop up the new Shadow.
Great review, I might buy these shoes as my backup basketball shoe as I love my Li ning sonic 8 high but I would like to have low top shoes. Will you be trying the Li ning sonic 8 team basketball shoe?

I have 2X pairs of this shoe The Sonic 7 Low Ice Blue (premium game model). The Sonic 7 Mid came out in 2019 and the Low, (this colorway) came out in Summer 2019. Li Ning advertised the shoe with poolside vides and a strawberry/blueberry beverage, lemon slice on top.
I played in Summer league 2019 and Winter League 2019 wearing this model. 7 days a week (games mixed in between) SO lots of basketball wear. Trainings/Scrimmage/Game. I enjoyed the shoe very much. In December 2019 I received 6 (yes 6!) pairs of Kyrie 5 shoes. Some were team issued freebies(Navy/wht), and the others were Spongebob series and Mamba Mentality series model. I've been using Kyrie's since and stopped wearing the Li Ning Sonic 7's as they are retired. *To Note: Sonic 7 Low: I had burned down the traction of my first Sonic 7 Low from just wearing indoors .theYouamongshoe has the "tuff RB" putsdole for outdoor specific use. Seems durable but still I have the shoe more than 60% worn now after only months of outdoor only use. I just use for training/workouts on outdoor court. The Sonic7 TB though is a great bag for the buck shoe...a budget version of the Mid/Low Sonic 7 (Premium) w/ outdoor rubber. Very durable + Features LightFoam cushion too, just like the Sonic 7 premium version.
Folks Keep in mind that the Sonic 9 is coming out soon....Pretty sure you were the one who sent me the pre release picture. Kinda exited to get this shoe...the Sonic 9 (Low) for indoor use.
Yeah Sonic 7 Low seems to use a softer rubber. Have you seen Sonic 8 Team? That one I think uses Tuff RB outsole. Really curious about that but I'll just also wait for the Sonic 9 or Shadow 2.
@@XIAObasketball Yes I've seen the Sonic 8 Team. It's around $72 usd and yes it has the LightFoam midsole and TuffRB. I didn't; buy it yet because of 2 things: $70 price tag, Boring Black/Black/small neon yellow accent/white midsole. The other colorful colorways is sold out in my size. It's spring and easter is almost here so I don't like hooping in plain black shoes....I've grown up wearing ALL Black, FoamPosites, Jet Fligths, Iversons etc..all as a lil kid. Too much black shoes for tooo long. 😂
Me too haha it's the same here, that black boring colorway is what's left. I really liked the red/blue gradient colorway but it's sold out.
Hello, there’s a new Sonic 9 team shoe avail in USA for $90 usd. Looks good but I’m not going to get it because I just ordered a WOW all day 4 (All city 7 tooling with casual vibes). I’m going to wear them on the job with proper business casual fits(I used to be a A&F model and worked in fashion industry for several years in my 20’s/early 30’s - I’ll make it work. I travel & have a statewide Ymca membership so I find Ymca gyms & go right after work to train/hoop. I’m a licensed MT & do mobile therapy sessions for work...my clients usually like what kicks I have on :). The wade all day series will be used perfectly as lifestyle/on court hooping. I picked up the Summer 19’ grey/taupe/orange China tour colorway that Wade wore when he did the tour that year. Again..the AC 7 tooling is what made me select the shoe over the 2020 version. BTW Did you try the AC 7?

Is the anta kt5 low the best all around performer of em all? hehe
I love/hate that shoe 😂 if you're a narrow footer it's probably the perfect shoe but for me as a wide footer it's not very comfortable.
@@XIAObasketball im a super duper wide footer pero the kt5 low version is 100x better than the highs. May vid si solebrothers recently about Wade all city 9 v2, a great chinese shoe din yon💯🔥💪
Wow good thing you liked the Kt5 low! Yeah I saw the review of the V2. Still like the V1 design better but I think I'm gonna skip on that one, I'm already super late (like this shoe haha). Plus the cushioning is super caged on the All City 8.

If you look at the shoe weight table in the review, there's an Adidas there 😅 It's my first Adidas and I'm also late on that shoe but so far looks like a good performer also. I'm liking these low top shoes!
What size in euro did you get? 43 or 43.5?
I got US 9 or equivalent to EU 42 1/3 on Lining. If you're buying from Lazada Taobao Collection, choose 42, its actual size is 42 1/3.
Im a US size 10 usually.. i checked their chart, size 10 is 43.5.. size 43.5 has no stock.. is it ok to size down to 43? Or size up to 44?
For me it fits like a Nike, so it might be short if you go half size down. I'm leaning more towards 44 if you have no choice.

Just making sure.. some reviewers felt it was too loose when they had no choice but to size up too, since the fit is wide.. does the shoe run long?

Iba iba kasi seller sa Taobao Collection so hindi ko sure kung legit lahat. Pero so far sa nakikita kong Chinese brand shoes dun mukang legit naman. Yung sa seller na ito legit.
