Apologies for my delayed response to your comments. I keep not getting notifications from UA-cam to review and approve the comments. So if I don't immediately respond don't worry... I will.
Our lists align in the bottom half for the most part. We differ after that but it truly doesn't matter. I like where you're going with the channel. Subscribed
Loving the relaxed, chatty delivery. It somehow feels like I know you very well from just this one video. Lots of fun screaming "you're quite clearly wrong!!" at the telly too. Nice!
This is a solid run through the albums of this lesser-known beat combo. I was surprised to see Let It Be so far down the list compared to Abbey Road... Next do David Bowie please!
The original stereo mixes of Help and Rubber Soul were included on the Mono Masters. I actually think they sound great. But, the Beatles sound great on any format.
DOH! I was really careful to check my facts, but that one clearly slipped through the net. Cheers for the heads up - not that I can change it now, but will mention it if I do any future videos on The Beatles that reference that song / album and for now I will add it to the video description as a correction...
Actually... Even better than that... I cut out the bit saying it was a Paul McCartney song using the editor. It'll take a few hours for the changes to come into effect. Cheers once again!
I get your point... The panning of the rhythm section is sometimes an issue too... however I do enjoy the stereo mixes of a lot of those records more, but by no means all of them and from 1968/1969 onwards the stereo mixes were often the only mixes to my knowledge - Abbey Road definitely. Suffice to say I can see it both ways for certain albums...

Bowie will come soon but I am building up to it. 29 albums! 🤠

I'd be interested to hear them but don't want to commit to the entire mono box set which is quite pricey.
Great first video, Alan, looking forward to your next one! Very pleased to see that you rated "A Day in The Life" highly- one of my favourite songs.
Interesting ranking Alan. Our rankings are not that close, but we're matching on a lot of best/worst tracks cheers
Glad you enjoyed it!
Til there was you, is a cover.

IMHO all the music from the 60s you should listen in Mono because that's the way it was recorded

There are no bad for The Beatles.
Indeed. Only 'worst to best' relatively speaking...
@@alansteadreviews I love all their songs. Rubber Soul Abbey Road and White Album are my special. I still can sing all the songs.
Revolver = Overrated.
man you really dunno what you are talking about
