I usually don’t mind facing MAX players. Everyone has an off day, all players have a weakness, I’ve taken some down, I’ve gotten steamrolled, too. Always learn something, though. I don’t understand the quitters who bail the moment they see a real challenge come up.
You can run me over 100 times and I’ll be back every time saying “I can do this all day. Let’s go.”
Usually max players are coop mains and noobs they're also skill less cowards
@@Dark-God986 I’ve noticed that in HVV and generally ignore levels. Sometimes it just means they play a lot. It’s only been one day of showdown but I ran into mid levels who were great and some I beat easy. I went toe to toe with a MAX level and nearly beat him so he played dirty in round two (he just ran around the whole time). And I saw weird stuff like a Vader who just turned and walked off into the forest for an L, guys jumping off ledges mid round. Had teammates just quit while we were winning. It’s not as similar to HVV as I thought, I gotta grind and learn

@@loicb4880 all good. Facing double teams makes me better. Much more patience - my weakness in this game - is required to be a good duelist. I’ll keep grinding. Felt like a noob my first couple times at it even though I won about half my fights lol
Well I also occasionally find these famous max levels that are partly half saws, especially in 4v4, which I was against a max, and lost using Vader, or pre orders that have high levels

I don't play Showdown often, but I do know that if someone does an emote first thing, they're typically initiating a 1v1 duel: 1st player emotes, 2nd player emotes back, then they duel.
If they emote after you die though, or mid-battle, they're probably toxic.
If I’m playing Kylo against a turtley player who only parries or just holds their block, I’ll cowards emote them. Or if I’m playing anybody else, I’ll shimmy to get them to do something.

If Grevious says "your screams are like music to my audio receptors" over your body it could just be a 2005 Battlefront 2 player following tradition and an Obi-Wan going "your move" over your body may just be doing the same thing but with Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga. Some of it isn't toxic
It’s crazy how without anyone telling you, you can understand the intentions of a stranger online in a game depending on what animation they decide to play and at what time. Nobody ever told me that you use and emote to incite a duel or respect you opponent but you can understand that that’s what they’re trying to get at and you just learn it. Weird how the brain works. Or maybe I’m just making a big deal over nothing.
Idk if it’s different on console but on pc if they start a duel with an emote it’s a sign of respect most of the time
I usually do this on PS4 too, actually, I ony start duels like that

gotta love toxic players who say they are better, so they 2v1 and bag, but when I do it to them they tell me that I suck. so I tell him that being toxic doesn't mean ur good. so he challenged me to a 1v1 and played his level 300 luke, I picked my level 6 vader (highest DS hero at the time) and completely crushed him
When using repulse as Luke rather than force pushing the enemy away from you hit them with your lightsaber like twice then use force push if your out of stamina or in danger
My Star Cards and level got reset. My EA account doesn’t recognize my PSN username so my account got screwed. Really appreciate you coming down to what it’s like with no cards. It’s horrible. Especially when people think they’re better.

A heads up: You can't draw a round whenever someone has left that specific round. For example, if you humble a dude and they piss their britches and leave; your team will get the point when the time runs out even if 1 person on each team is alive.

One thing i learned in hero showdown, emotes before a battle usually are in good faith just like a friendly banter or messing around. If it's after and block spam when you're dead then it's disrespectful. Also block spamming before fighting is usually selecting who you want to 1v1, well this is how it is on Xbox. Idk how it is on playstation.

I’m new to the game and I love dueling high levels cause I can actually see what I’m doing wrong with them by seeing what they do right sometimes they cool and give advice after the games so it’s pretty nice

I think I might have come across him in HvV once aswell on xbox. I had noobs on my team and he had all 100+ levels on his. Surprisingly it was still a close game. He was being toxic to my teammates so I targeted him for the rest of the game

Damn all max, that’s actually crazy. My brother and I play on the same account and we play a decent amount all the time but we have no maxes and we’re actually good too. We do have high leveled characters which ig could add up to one max at least. Every time I come across a max I just assume they’re solo and nerdy.

Also some people can usually tell if your good and realize you don't have less then 2 brain cells. Anyway it's really fun to do this and see reactions. Also sometimes people emote during duels. I don't know how you do it. I came back to the game after switching to PC (from ps4) and it is full of hackers and toxic players. I am a dooku main and getting 4v1 is very infuriating. Dooku also sucks in co op because of his lack of a crowd control, so the 1 to MAX grind is eating my soul for breakfast lunch and dinner. I enjoy your content keep it up ;)

One night over the summer, I got me and the boys into an Xbox party, three of them played other games, but me and another played hero showdown from like 9pm to 1am, and tried to respect 1v1s, we would emote to see if they were valid and would emote with us. We really tried to have them respect 1v1s. I met some honorably people that night over messages and I also met some assholes, we got one into the party and then shit on him in game lol it was great!
