One of the nicest golfers and human beings you can meet. Watched him many years ago in the PGA at Wentworth in the Pro-Celebrity and was more than happy to talk to the crowd especially the youngsters. Played N Hants a few times never saw him there but met plenty of members who told you what a great person he was.
Just want to say I'm a big fan of Justin Rose. Absolute class act. The first time I attended a PGA Tour event was at Callaway Gardens when I was young (5 or 6 years old). I remember David Duvall in his prime ignoring me and it always bothered me (I understand as an adult he was focused and trying to win a tournament) I didn't attend another tournament round until the final round of the tour championship in 2018 when I was in college. JR was having a rough day at the turn and had basically fallen out of contention for the tournament and was grinding to hang on to the Fed Ex Cup. I was standing on the rope line between 9 and 10 when he walked by. I said his name and offered a fist bump and he nodded and obliged. He could have easily been annoyed with himself for the start to the day or to focused on grinding out the rest of the round to acknowledge me but he didn't. The contrast of those two experiences really made me a huge fan.
This was great and best so far. Justin Rose is such a classy golfer and really decent guy. Rick's game has improved a lot. Much better than any other golf channel right now

Thanks for sharing Rick. Always been a supporter of Rosie. When I was younger I had a good 10min chat with him in Hartford, CT during his post round practice session. Was always a favorite of mine since. A true professional in every sense of the word.
A pleasure to watch JR at North Hants. The 2nd and 3rd holes realignment was back in 2003/2004 - roughly - 20 years ago.! The money North Hants received to provide road access to a new housing estate helped fund the lovely clubhouse. Hats off to the green keeping staff presenting the course in such tiptop condition. The tees mowed, the bunkers raked and fairways trimmed perfectly. Interestingly, since my time as a member in 2006-9 the additional fairway bunkers and the thinning of the trees have enhanced the course immensely.
Absolute pleasure to watch. Ricks pleasant demeanor is always what makes him fun to watch but add to that Justin's kind spirit as well and it makes for such a joy to watch. I had a smile on my face the whole time

Watched the first half then went to bed. Spent the next day at work hoping Rick would pull it out. Great entertainment. These 10 shot matches with pros are really cool. Justin has always been a golfer I've admired and his insight and commentary was absolutely wonderful.
I have never enjoyed ANY other episode that Rick has put up as I have this one! I genuinely don't think I have ever seen Rick play better than he did in this round. Thanks for this Rick. Brings back fond memories of spending a beautifrul spring afternoon I spent with Justin a couple years ago. The man is pure class and so humble. Pretty good golfer too. So much to admire. Most are too young to remember his hole out in 1998 at Birkdale, he turned professional at 17 and proceeded to miss his first 21 cuts in a row. I'm so glad he persevered.

What I love the most about these videos is the great way it highlights the difference between top level pros and "average" pros for want of a better word. The difference in course management, shot selection and mentality is all here to see. Real lessons to be learned by us all.
What a true gem JR is. And as I'm typing this through 15 holes, and a level match, a couple things. RS has played some dang solid golf, and JR is doing what a lot of tour pro's would do, on a "normal" course. He's giving it a butt whooping! To this point, well played fellas!
For me this is the perfect example of what these videos are for. For whatever reason, I always had the impression that Justin Rose was very very stuck up. Why? I have no idea, but that was always my impression of him. Getting to see him here for 18 holes and be so genuine has made me feel like a complete fool and I now have nothing but respect for him. Keep them coming, Rick.
I is not difficult to cheer for wonderful individuals. Justin is one of my favorite people. I obviously have never met him but I can imagine what you see on the course is what you get off the course. So genuine. Appreciate his example.

I caddied at The 2022 Canadian Open in the Pro-ams and we were paired with Justin for one of the rounds -- he was great with the amateurs in the group -- I was also at Merion in 2013 so I've always been a pretty big fan of his - nice one Rick!

Great watch! I was at the 98 Open when Justin burst on the scene. He seems as grounded and nice, as he was back then. Despite being multi millionaire, world no 1, olympic & us open champion, Ryder cup legend! What a great role model for young golfers. Proof that nice guys can still be champions! 👍

This is my favourite kind of golf, both to watch on screen and on the golf course myself : 2 great golfers having fun on the course without any unnecessary goofing around and playing a serious, great round. And a 7 under par from Justin Rose...that's just "Wow!!!"😃 Thank you for the pleasure of watching this.🙂 Although, I admit, I am currently also having a lot of fun teaming up with my 5 year old daughter whenever possible and playing our private "serious" 9 hole round: with 1 golf ball and always taking turns hitting, with my daughter playing the greens all by herself. Just the day before yesterday we broke our personal record : better than +30 for the first time and then a +26 straight away.😉

What I love the most about these videos is the great way it highlights the difference between top level pros and "average" pros for want of a better word. The difference in course management, shot selection and mentality is all here to see. Real lessons to be learned by us all.

What a true gem JR is. And as I'm typing this through 15 holes, and a level match, a couple things. RS has played some dang solid golf, and JR is doing what a lot of tour pro's would do, on a "normal" course. He's giving it a butt whooping! To this point, well played fellas!
For me this is the perfect example of what these videos are for.
For whatever reason, I always had the impression that Justin Rose was very very stuck up. Why? I have no idea, but that was always my impression of him.
Getting to see him here for 18 holes and be so genuine has made me feel like a complete fool and I now have nothing but respect for him. Keep them coming, Rick.
I is not difficult to cheer for wonderful individuals. Justin is one of my favorite people. I obviously have never met him but I can imagine what you see on the course is what you get off the course. So genuine. Appreciate his example.

I caddied at The 2022 Canadian Open in the Pro-ams and we were paired with Justin for one of the rounds -- he was great with the amateurs in the group -- I was also at Merion in 2013 so I've always been a pretty big fan of his - nice one Rick!
Enjoyed the 10 shot challenge but also enjoyed watching what a tour pro scores around a decent level club course just as much !

Great watch! I was at the 98 Open when Justin burst on the scene. He seems as grounded and nice, as he was back then. Despite being multi millionaire, world no 1, olympic & us open champion, Ryder cup legend! What a great role model for young golfers. Proof that nice guys can still be champions! 👍

So many thanks to you and the team for bringing us this video - such an honest and easy going style from you both - both celebrating the others shots, yet both obviously wanting the win - It'll definitely give Justin another couple 100k fans supporting him on his next tournament - many more of these 10 under par challenges please, its a great format!
This is my favourite kind of golf, both to watch on screen and on the golf course myself : 2 great golfers having fun on the course without any unnecessary goofing around and playing a serious, great round. And a 7 under par from Justin Rose...that's just "Wow!!!"😃

Although, I admit, I am currently also having a lot of fun teaming up with my 5 year old daughter whenever possible and playing our private "serious" 9 hole round: with 1 golf ball and always taking turns hitting, with my daughter playing the greens all by herself. Just the day before yesterday we broke our personal record : better than +30 for the first time and then a +26 straight away.😉
