- Barbra Itungo Kyagulanyi, the wife to Kyaddondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi says no amount of pressure and acts of torture will stop her from fighting to see that her husband is released.
Barbra Kyagulanyi, who was speaking to NTV this afternoon, revealed that though her husband was physically weak at the moment, he was still determined to continue fighting for what he called a more democratic Uganda.

You are right! I was talking about the Idi Amin portrayed in the western media not the real one.
KLA 248 cos he was a dictator... Museveni did give freedom and democracy. But he got greedy from 2005 onwards like every other African presidents do. So do not forget the facts, Idi amin was some one ruling by imposing fear. He was exactly as he was portrayed. Only the elder ugandans can tell his story. Most youths mistake him as a cruel but working for people type of dictator. Its a big mistake he was mindless brutal dictator. But Museveni did good and he should have left around 2005-2010 there and lived like a hero.

Another point, M7 is selling Ugandans land and property to foreigners while if not thanks to Idi Uganda would have ended as Zimbabwe or South Africa. Can you deny that too?

Uganda needs a sustained opposition especially in terms of leaders. The majority are like "one-hit" wonders. They "kukyamula" the crowd for a while, then either disappear into oblivion, or are overwhelmed with the task at hand or other reasons or are "bought off" by the regime. Beatrice Anywar, Beti Kamya, Nabilah Naggayi, Mpuuga, Katuntu, Mwenda, Otunnu, etc. These were the faces of the walk to work campaign. Imagine if they were consistent with it in 2011. Only happened 3 months and thats it. Now FDC is basically split as the Arua and Bugiri episodes showed. My only prayer is that Barbie and Bobi stay steadfast and dont follow the same path
