Hi there great question, no the Kingdom of God is not the Fruit of the Spirit, but the children of the King receive the Fruit of the Spirit, when they receive Him.
Rodney Jones Elder Jones, please forgive me. but, I have one more question. Can you please explain to me the meaning of Romans 14:17? humbly asking. Thank You.
Also another great question. Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. In keepings with the context that Paul was writing in, he was dealing with eating food that would cause I've bother to stumble and the other one knows his freedom. Paul encourages us not to eat anything that can cause hurt to or fellow brother, because the kingdom of God is not about food but it's about righteousness or doing what's right at all times. It's not about a natural thing but a spiritual
Dallas Texas studying this on my own and Lord led me here and this is Awsome break down of the kingdom of Our heavenly Father😊 this is the season of the mysteries to be revealed to those chosen to be the wheat to identify the false brothers I like how elder said they preach and sing but fruit is wicked.... Amen
Thank you so much you have changed my entire way of teaching Sunday school for the good, you are a teacher par excellent May God bless you to continue to do what you do for the people of God!
Wanted to share with our class…A list of all of God’s Parables that are found in Chapter 13 1. The Sower and the Soils (13:1-9) 2. The Reason for Parables (13:10-17) 3. The Explanation of the Sower (13:18-23) 4. The Wheat and Tares (13:24-30) 5. The Mustard Seed (13:31-32) 6. The Leaven (13:33) 7. A Buried or Hidden Treasure (13:44) 8. The Costly Pearl (13:45-46) 9. A Large Net or The Dragnet (13:47-50) 10. The Householder’s Treasure (13:52) The most important lesson I have learned from all these parables is we need to keep an open heart for God’s Word to speak to us and keep spreading God’s Word until it overflows. Maybe we might can help change this world, only God knows.
Thank you so much... I appreciate this, it will help me as I will present a late monthly overview and I am scheduled to teach the adults on the upcoming Sunday. Blessings to you...
All I can say is BEAUTIFUL LESSON!! I'M WHEAT BOWING BEFORE GOD" HALLELUJAH!! Elder Jones, once again you nailed this lesson the head. Love the description of the difference between the "wheat and the tare". I have heard this parable preached a number of times but never like this lesson. Thank you for your God-given knowledge and how you are helping me to stay bowed down to God. You have given me inspiration to teach this lesson in the way God wants it done. Thank you and may God bless you.
Wow what a blessing! I praise God for every opportunity He avails to get His Word out. Yes this lesson right here even inspires me to continue forward, I'm loving being WHEAT BOWING BEFORE GOD! THANK YOU
Amazing!! Great revelation Elder Rodney, has given us on these spiritual and divine truths. As God's sheep we perceive and know his voice, and will always move synchronized and syncopated to the word of God. Discern how and when the enemy comes. Guard your heart and always be vigilant, sober and alert, Blessings 👏👏☝☝
Amen my sister, Prophetess McCray. It is so important for the people of God to be able to discern when the enemy is working and visible. So much has and is going on in our homes and churches, we need to show nuff pray persistently and fervently.
This lesson shows us the growth process of the Kingdom of Heaven, it shows us that God is still active in sowing good seed upon the Earth. The lesson tells us to let the wheat and the tare grow together so that we don't remove the wrong things (while trying to remove tares). God will do this in the end!
The Sunday School review with the teens was great although it was a real trial keeping them attentive during the class...like herding cats! But God delivered us out of all our troubles! LOL! The Tares vs. The Wheaties! Answered all questions well! I’m learning along with them! You played a part 👍🏼🤓💖✨🇨🇦. I used the intertwining of the Roots to explain why the servants couldn’t pull up the tares from the wheat...
Excellence is what I see and say! I'm so excited with and for you. That is great news, and the class was inspired, learned, and had a great time. They will always remember that.
Don't get caught up in the external cosmetics of people. Wake up!! Some have eyes, and can't see, some have ears and can't hear. Look at persons fruit and not the gift. Don't be deceived.
Good morning and thank you for your question. The law or principle of sowing and reaping was setup by God, which means whatever you plant that's what you will get back in return. Naturally, if you sow ( take a handful of apple seeds) and toss them ( the term sow means to throw or to shake out) then you will harvest or reap or pluck Apples ( not watermelon or oranges etc) you get back what you planted. Whatever seed you sow or plant you will get back the produce of that seed sowed.
You are so welcome, also this law is spiritual. In Galatians 6 it mentions it, it implies how we handle a person who has been over taken with a fault ( we are sowing) determines how we may be handle in the same type of situation.
Blessings Elder, thank you for exposing the enemy, we want to know the enemy's mode of operation. The Word tells us that we are not ignorant of the devil's devices; and unfortunately he lures or distracts many by fear, false reports, temptations, etc. Wow, the characteristics of the tares (we want to get this), ...:-)) we can tell the wheat from the tare by the fruit it bare. When we think that the tare stands tall (prideful, rebellious; posers,...) and some species are poisonous. I am honored to bow before the Lord. Hallelujah! I still got joy!!! I know you don't want to go there, yet you mentioned two sowers and we the lesson is on the just kingdom; from what I see in the Word, the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven are used interchangeably. Okay, two sowers and two spiritual kingdoms - God reigns in Light, Love, righteousness, joy and peace, etc. ; the other sower, the devil, leads the kingdom of darkness, trying to choke the wheat. Okay... thank God for Rev.Drs, the Plummers. Pastor Plummer said, something like "there might not be agreement on the meaning; however, if we can agree on what is written"...that will make for a fruitful learning experience. If we look at what is written I believe our eyes will see what we have overlooked for years... the preaching of the kingdom of God. Okay, that is truly another topic. Back to the parables... the mustard seed (little becomes much when we place it in the Master's hand, that line comes from a song) and the leaven (the spreading of God's goodness). Right now having technical difficulties; however, some of the expounders of the lesson emphasizes the woman. I will reboot to hear how you finish the lesson. Blessings...
Oh wow hurry and fix the technical situatuon, reboot, and get all systems running! Believe me I know all about technical problems. Yes we are kingdom children, Matthew used the term Kingdom of Heaven in some of the same parables that Mark used Kingdom of God! This is some good stuff right here.
Aaaah, you were having a good time in this lesson. Hallelujah! You are leaving a lot of good nuggets...I AM WHEAT BOWING BEFORE GOD. Hallelujah!!! Amen, it is hard to find folks in prayer meeting, and in Sunday School. I believe with the internet and Sunday School the Body of Christ as a whole, are growing and going forth...moving with God. Oh boy, you brought a good memory back for me, my mother's biscuits. Lord, thank You Jesus, that is a sweet memory. Thank God for revelation... it is preaching and teaching time...while it is still day. The devil is defeated. Hallelujah! This learning with you is enjoyable and I thank God for you. Blessings....
Praise the Lord, "hidden in plain sight"... Matthew 13:10-11 Good Stuff! Also, digging' the rhymes...the difference between the wheat and the tare is he fruit it bare. Appreciate the note to the parents and the laughter that you bring while giving a rich teaching. Thanks again,....blessing.
Hey Elder! I've decided to vear off the youth lesson for tomorrow and have them pose as a shoot of wheat one one side and a shoot of tare on the other side...explaining what they're about during the review in front of the whole Sunday School.
