Thank you, Emily for everything! For those of you who haven't explore Watercolor Mastery, give it a look. It's an amazing source of learning and a lot of fun. I'm going to master (or at least get closer to good) shadows this year.
My goal is to avoid creating art that stresses me out! Creating art for someone else specifically and/or to post online makes me freeze up and stress over every brushstroke. I'm hoping to create art that is enjoyable for my eyes only so I can bring the joy back into creating. Your work inspires me so much! And on a random note, I love the top you're wearing in this video 😊 Wishing you wonderful holidays and a happy new year.
Your Watercolor Mastery school has helped me a lot in a short time! I highly recommend it for artists of all levels! In 2025, my goal is to complete 30 of your tutorials, in addition to my own art and other things. I am amazed by how much I have learned so far. I would also like to learn how to be more efficient in my brushstrokes so that paintings take less time. This requires letting go of some of my habits. I have only completed 15 tutorials since September.
Thank you Emily for your wisdom. I M finishing up a class with different artist, and you are next on my list. I have been painting for one year and made my own holiday cards last year and this year. After doing your gingerbread man, I am ready to talk to other artists who sell cards at craft fairs. That is my goal this year. Get information and join your class.
Thank you Emily as always. My big goal next year is to start doing markets and sell my paintings this way. There are other goals of course but I think this one will be the kicker. Anyway, wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas full of magical experiences and peaceful time spent with your beautiful family. All the very best, with gratitude - Beverley 🇦🇺
That's a good goal to have might help if you try painting smaller pictures. I've painted everyone my family. A 5 inch by 7 inch picture for Christmas? It was a lot of fun and it's not as stressful as trying to work on a large sheet.
I would like to learn to add more abstraction, painting realistically is a skill but becoming outdated with photography I think. I like abstract realism and want to learn how to see things and paint them different from reality
I intent to practice daily and to free myself from my fears of not performing well while painting.

My goal for 2025 is to be more consistent and let go of my fear of ruining my work. It's ok to mess up and redo, I want to learn that.
