I have neighbors who have shitzu dogs and they don’t look like her. She makes me want to get a Shitzu, how pretty! I love the length of her fur cut. She’s perfect if I get one I will have mine groomed this same exact way. I want a little Foo Foo Prissy dog now.💜
Most aren't this small, but they cost a lot of money (think thousands, not hundreds), are very needy, require a lot of attention and grooming, and have many health problems. Plus, they can live 15-20+ years when taken good care of. One of my Shih Tzus cost me and my grandma $10,000 for emergency surgery last year because a cervical disk in her neck herniated, and the vet told us that was common enough in Shih Tzus that it likely just happened for no reason. Another one of our Shih Tzus is on $45 a month of heart medicine for the rest of her life and is only 10. So if, after doing tons of research on the breed, you decide you still want one, you should probably start setting some money aside for future vet bills.
Why do you clip the whiskers? I’m a dog and cat groomer & I’ve always been curious. I still achieve the same round face and just scissor the whiskers down not take them all the way off..
If u get rid of whisker , fur around wisker, can have fill space. And whiskers is harder than nomal fur. So when can make scissoring, will stop little bit. It wont be good for you scissor neither. I use another old scissor to cut whisker. I learned like this in my grooming class. And in my case i think i can make cuter face withou whisker. I hope than i could help u. 😃

I thought that i could show some knowhow for furious cat to cut nail or brush hair or madicated. Im so good to treat for furious cats. Im crazy cat lover since i was a little girl.
