I discovered the world of larp today thank to your channel. I would like to try something in the next years. There are 2 main problems: I'm quite young and i can't spend a lot in thai events especially for costumes. Do you have any suggestion for smaller events? Another thing. I don't speak german and the best events are in germany. I know that i could "survive" with english, but what if (it's just a stupid idea that i had now) i being a small dictionary and i cover it with leader pretending it's a diary (maybe in a medieval / fantasy larp)? I'm just trying to use immagination 😁

What perfect timing! LARPsingapore is also about to have a Post-Apoc game, hope they can learn from this video and adapt some of the ideas for local context. Love the attention to detail!
how cooool! So excited to see what you guys are starting in Singapore - do you know where the event will happen yet? As you might know I used to live in Singa for a few months back in the day 😁 and everything is so modern and clean - do you even have Postapo buildings? 😁 👍
@@SonjasAdventures Haha yep, the founders of LARPsg talk about you alot and share all your videos. The event is currently really small scale, at a nature park area. For post apoc buildings, iits tough but i hear they are trying to pull some strings to gain access to old colonial era buildings. Issue is most are used by the armyyy. The upcoming event will be more "Wilderness" apparently, and lotsd of "suspension of dis belief"
i highly recomend spleeping in the bunkers. even if some sleeping fighters are louder than a diesel engien, it realy ads up to the immersion and the camaraderie.
I 100% agree! I have been sleeping in the bunker ever since we got our own little group space (so I think for around 3 years) and it seriously adds to the feeling! It's also hardcore if you have to wake up at a certain time because the bunker simply wakes up and gets loud 😂

it absolutely is!! My first time, our first mission into the field was at night. I had never shot an airsoft blaster before, I had no idea how the Alien Bots would look like and I was nervous as hell.. the site is huge and boy, I still love that excitement
Imagine something actually goes down during the event and both sides (LARP & Real life) stumble upon each other not knowing the others angle/perspective and assumes the other is part of their narrative. 😜
The funny thing is, "our side" (larp) would probably better equipped and already prepared 😂 it's crazy what you learn at these events.. like "how much can go wrong" in terms of communication and plans for example

LARP with airsoft in Germany? I can't believe BND allowed german nationals to have in posession something that may look like real firearm! :D Extremly good use for perhaps former National Volksarmee site.Thanks for review :) The last scene of "area sweep" is amazing.
Thanks for the video. To me it doesn't seem like there is a lot of variety in what you do, day in day out. It sounds very repetitive. Is there any kind of story progression in this series?
Yes, there are definetely different storylines going on and it's not just about the fighting. :) On the first event, for example, the main story revolved around the base trying to establish communication with other survivors across the globe. For that, different sections of the base all needed to help. Relay towers had to be built and equipment captured and developed, so there were many smaller missions that all contributed to this goal. On the side, a lot of smaller "quests" also happened inside and out of the bunker. The resistance learns more and more about the aliens and the world at large. So there's always something to do for every type of character :)
If only it wasn't on the other side of the world. I'd love to join that event and several others I've seen on this channel. Shame there isn't really anything like this in the US. Germany is making it more and more appealing to move to Europe than stay stateside
Gonna watch this with great interest but I do want to say until 2020 I was hoping for a pandemic themed airsoft LARP based somehow on the notion of germs that come from Germany because this bleak world needs more humor. But now it’s 2023 so
It is not the largest in europe. That goes to Blodsband Reloaded in Sweden, with an average of 600 people, a couple of years up towards 800. And frankly... it looks more like an airsoft event then a larp.
Hey Johan, the numbers I found from BBR were below that of Prim. But since not all information is shared publicly, it might very well be that you are right =) As for "airsoft event / Larp" - it is definitely both. There's tons of roleplay and immersion. It's just a different genre of Postapo than BBR or Fallen. It's Postapo Sci-Fi rather than the typical "Fall-out/Mutants/Wasteland" genre. I can definitely recommend it - but if it's not your cup of tea, that's perfectly fine of course =)
Well, this one together with "Conquest of Mythodea" is my favorite because of many things, including immersion and the people that go with me 😊 Other than that, it was often about the Location: Bicolline in Canada has beautiful houses... same with Bogenwald in Germany... I loved being in the Italian alps for a Game of Thrones Larp.. so yeah.. I think those are my thoughts on it 😂 But if you want to see really interesting Larp Events (most of which I have never been to) watch my video "The 6 biggest Larp Genres" 😊
Trust me it can. An even from a further . 😂 It deosnt have to always be 1,5 J to have fun besides its the Larp that makes it special and a Highlight of my year.
i have a legit question so i am guessing most larp evens are like payed right ?, like you have to pay to participate sooooooooooooooooo if i like let's say pay for the full 5 days and get shoot in day one like what I am out LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO payed for nada I am probably wrong but I wanna know before I decide on paying

Und meistens kann ich da nicht hingehen, weil meine Familie einen Weinberg hat an der meistens Mitte September die Trauben reif sind und geerntet werden müssen. Dieses Jahr ist die PRIM an dem Termin. Normalerweise liest niemand meine Kommentare 😂. Danke

Too bad there is a limit of 0.5j on the Weapons. It sounds really interesting and since i'm an Airsoft player i already have the entire Equipment i would need to cosplay a ressistance fighter. But all my weapons are proper ones, as they are used in regular games (1,5-3j range) - in the german legislation the guns with 0.5j are considered toys for children aged 14+ and have an effective range of 30ish meters only. So i'd have to buy one of those in order to attend.
yeah, it's an insurance thing since we play without face protection etc. I think there's a way to turn them down in terms of Joules but not sure if it's legal and should be done =D But hey, if you like the setting, I can absolutely recommend getting a blaster just for this Larp event
My 0.5s are well tuned and manage the 50 meters easily. It always depends on the quality of the replicas. An MG usually does not do as much as a classic AR15. Mostly depends on the hopup. If there is a lack of information / advice, feel free to contact me.

It's now in a Glas container in the research area. 😢 And after the last P.R.I.M. as well as the rest of my corps. 🙈 They made an autopsy on my Bot heart! 🤣 But of course they used a dummy for that. 😉 The OT Player is still intact and happy alive. 😜

every event started small, collect a few people have fun, do some advertising in forums etc. and it might attract a few more people, just try it.

Germany is on a whole different level of larp from the rest of the world hahahahaha! Out here in the USA post apocalyptic events are fashion shows.

why 600€? The event costs 160€ and people go there because they want to immerse themselves into this postapo world 😊
Its Just 160€ and it is realy fun! I know, I do both (LARP Medic, EMS and Zivil Defense Medic) ;)
