Was dazzled by an intense, blinding green light. Felt a tremendous pain in her chest and fell to the ground on the back. When Valeria recovered her sight saw above her the simulacrum of Diantha staring at her from above with a cruel expression. " i could kill you right away in an instant, little girl ", said the sorceress. " but i'll let you live. And do you know why ? Because i enjoy hurting than killing, i enjoy seeing the frightened look in your dark eyes, your fear. You're not a threat, child, you're not a real enchantress ", said sarcastically. " your powers, if you have any, are ridiculous, they are just childish tricks ". " i'm a true enchantress ! ", Valeria replied proudly, panting in pain. " you're wrong to let me live, we'll see each other again ! ". " how much you talk, child, keep your breath, you need it. ", laughed Diantha. " now excuse me, said sarcastically, " i've a king to conquer. The king that a beggar peasant girl who i think you know has madly fallen in love with ". Having said this, the ghost of Diantha disappeared in the light of the night. Whit extreme difficulty Valeria managed to get on her knees on the frozen ground : the pain in her chest was still terrible, she couldn't barely breathe. Tears of pain and anger at the same time streaming down her cheecks. " i've failed and lost my love ", thought. " perhaps that witch was right, perhaps i'm not an enchantress ". " don't say these things, Valeria ", said Andromeda's voice in her soul. " my queen, it's you ! , she replied " what should i do ?, i've now lost hope ". " my child ", replied Andromeda, " hope is the last Goddess. You're a true enchantress, you've powers that you don't know you have yet, but they are strong : claim these powers, let your heart unleash them and you'll see that they can be strong, in battle as in love ". Andromeda's voice fell silent. Valeria found herself immersed in total silence. Got up with difficulty and looked at the light of the candles illuminating the king's room. I perceive her wickedness ", thoght desperately ", " that witch is about to have him, to make him hers ". The neigh of Eclipse distracted her from those thoughts. Valeria looked at the tatoo with a butterfly on her right forearm. " go to him, my little butterfly, bring him the strenght of my love, let him wake up from the evil spell of that perfidious being ", whispered. Valeria delicately touched her tattoo : a splendid butterfly soared towards king Mark's castle. Meanwhile, in Mark's bedroom, Diantha was close to the desired victory : her lips were near to those of the king, completely at the mercy of the sorceress, of her overflowing beauty and sensuality. Her pupils were black eddies in which he was about to sink. Diantha's warm breath gave off the scent of spring, the red mouth was parted in a shocking smile that showed her bright teeth. Suddenly Mark was distracted by a movement outside the large window of his room : saw a splendid multicolored butterfly flying in front of the glass. A thought crossed his mind in an instant. " how is it possible ? A butterfly here, in the kingdom of ice ? ". " please, my king ", Diantha said softly, " look at me, look into my eyes, kiss me ". Mark stared at her again : in that instant perceived in the eyes a flash of pure evil, now her eyes had become deadly dark eddies, ready to swallow him forever. Mark drew back abruptly getting up , pushing the sorceress away from him and grabbing his sword. " they say you're cruel, soulless and evil. They are right. Go away, witch, disappear from my sight, there's nothing left for you to do here !. Love ? You don't know what love is, you know only the power of evil and lust ! ".Diantha bent her chest forward, like a snake ready to attack. She was furious, but not for the loss of a kingdom that seemed to be in the hands of the Evil one, but for being rejected as a woman, for not being able to conquer a man with her extraordinary beauty and sensuality. Her eyes had become two black globes, the face was transfigured with deep anger. " oh, idiot, crazy king ! You dared to push me away ! ", hissed. " do you refuse me ? You will regret it bitterly. Oh yes, you will regret it ! ". Diantha opened wide her mouth, showing long, pointed canines. " i'll wait for you, even if you lived a thousand lives i'll make you regret being born !
