2014-2015 is easily Kakashi VS Obito. It’s literally one of the best fights ever made. The music, flashbacks, the hand to hand combat. Everything was perfect

Personally, the fights in Ufotable's Fate series combined with Yuki Kajiura's music just feels different.... the visuals... the movements.. the background...
In my opinion Saber alter vs Berserker blows out of the water Tanjiro vs Rui, it doesn't carry an emotional context like the Demon Slayer fight but the animation and coreography is just on another level also the fight is last like 15 minutes.
this video and direction is way better than the previous one because this looks like everything came to a full circle and no one was left out. hoping to see more of such content

A lot of people even like to say it's not part of the Big 3 and choose Fairy Tail or DBZ instead, but Bleach's impact and it's sheer top-tier level of shonenness definitely gives it a top spot in the shonen series of the era. And it will probably be even bigger when it comes back as there's so much hype around it.

Bleach had a ridiculous number of incredible fights all the way throughout, from the Soul Society captain fights to the Hueco Mundo and Fake Kararaku arcs. The Aizen fight was insane, but also kind of annoying due to how OP Aizen became. HxH is also an insane source of amazing fights - Netero/Meruem isn't really my favourite, I prefer some of the earlier fights such as Hisoka v Gon and the Heaven's Arena fights. Also Chrollo vs the 2 Zoldycks was short but impactful imo. The Gintoki/Takasugi fight gives me absolute chills though. Nothing beats an epic 1-1 physical fight like that for me.
Gintama is so slept on when talking action anime in general. I did find it very funny, but I skipped most of the non serious arcs/episodes and was left with one of the best action anime ever. No question
Hisoka and the Butler though... Very short, but that stands out to me over a lot of fights for encapsulating just how brutal the world of HXH can be when the stakes are Life and Death.

Spoiler They didnt explain in the movie why Rider still there after the graal battle ended, same goes for Shiro and how he was a alive, they simply did some fast shots to show how they "recovered" Shiro, wich was not enough to explain, and for Rider, they simply explained nothing. I had to look at the novel to get the answers.
I didn't expect Black Clover to win best fight from any year, but it would of been nice if you at least mentioned Asta & Yuno vs Licht. To be fair though you did mention Asta & Yami vs Dante
Gintama being mentioned, and even winning, best fight of the year makes me cry a little in happiness. Gintama is by far one of the best anime I have ever seen, so to see it get the appreciation it deserves just

So many great anime fights. Besides naruto vs sasuke I had never felt as much chills as I did from a fight except from Tanjiro vs Rui. Legit made me fall in love with demon slayer. It showed the true beauty of anime to its fullest extent.
For me, God of Highschool's best fight has to be between Jin mori vs Han Daewi or Jin Mori vs Park Ilpyo. Those two fights are brutal and filled with emotion, specially the 1st
I feel like Bungou Stray Dogs had a number of fights that could've been up on the list. Honestly just a pick between some like "Atsushi Nakajima and Ryūnosuke Akutagawa vs. Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald" or "Sakunosuke Oda vs. André Gide" or even "Ryūnosuke Akutagawa and Atsushi Nakajima vs. Ivan Goncharov"
I love the video , well done ! Sometimes people are asking me what are you watching , whereas I reply : all kind of things , movies , Tv series , documentaries , but what I really like is anime ! Funny thing they say to me that I'm such a child/kid , what's anime ? However their brain as the size of a peanut (no offense) cannot comprehend the workload put in these fabulous animations , perhaps a lifetime of drawing the talent, creativity , intelligence and experience , then again it comes down to the story which it's unique in every anime, also the music in every anime is absolutely amazing. I've lived so many emotions throught the years , I've laughed I've cried I've enjoyed every single anime show I've watch and I've also learnt so many valuable lessons that other people wouldn't even get close to them in their lifetime.

Voting for Ufotable fights as best on the year is like voting for Meryl Streep to win the Oscar. I just missed at least as an honorable mention the Mirio Togata vs Chisaki on my Hero academia, that fight was so Epic and full of emotion i felt it shud have appeared in this vídeo. Other than that great vid, i agree with almost all of the winners.
my personal favorite for this year so far is from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime S2, episode 34, when Hakuro & Geld take their revenge on the 2 humans that invaded Tempest. Although it's mostly a 1 sided beatdown, it was just so satisfying and highly memorable
Honestly think the Shirou/Rider vs Salter is the GOAT and absolute peak of fight animation. Only company I see beating this quality is Ufotable themselves. Mappa is good but Ufotable animation is just next level.
Ufotable always use the standard of 5 years in the future for their animation. Shirou/Rider vs SAlter is the best on every level and it's gonna be very hard to top.
You could've mentioned Fate/Apocrypha for 2017 since it had some really great fights at the end of the series as well as the fate grand order movies for 2021. Fireforce too deserved at least a mention. Also if you haven't watched it yet, the Madoka spin off Magia Record second season has some of the best animation I've seen in 2021. You should also check out the Golem fight in Princess Conect Re: Dive that came out a few days ago since there were a lot of well known animators working on that and it looks pretty damn good. That's all that comes to mind right. This definitly is a great video and I hope you keep up the good content
By being honest and as objective as possible. There have been many amazing fights over the years, but that doesn't change the fact that the Raider vs Alter Saber fight from the last Fate movie was the best and longest we've seen. It is enough to mention 16 layers of animation created by one man, it already arouses admiration for superhuman work.
I do think the list is completely valid but there were some fights that I thought deserved mention. Especially the Oda vs Gide from Bungo Stray Dogs Season 2
Looking back at the last decade of anime fights is actually really fucking awesome. While it's clear modern anime is pushing the boundaries for what is possible in anime, as showcased by the likes of ufotable and Mappa, but it's not in a way that makes older fights look cheap or unexciting. The current direction of anime action makes me appreciate where we've come from, and where we're headed. Chainsaw Man, here we come.

Well, I'd actually mention Deku & Bakugo vs Nine from the second movie Heroes Rising that fight was phenomenal and definitely one of the best I've seen up to present
0:00 and 8:16 for people who don't know this anime is called k-project and it is pretty good. From the clips you can see the animation is really good and the plot of the anime will honestly keep you interested.
For 2017, I would say Koyomi Araragi verus Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade aka Adult Shinobu, the Cinematography was SPECTACULAR, it put me on edge seat and mixing with comedy and the animation.. Splendid
Awesome list, I've watched so many shows thanks to your channel, but I must say I think the best fight from DB Super, and DB in general, was the final fight of jiren vs goku, frieza and Android 17. On a side not my favourite MHA fight has been lemillion vs overhaul and 3 of the 8 bullets
I think Berserker vs Saber Alter has the best fight of em all. While other anime tried to make an action scene so fun, exciting or sad. Herc vs Saber Alter just felt so atomic and desperately hopeless. Herc vs OG saber is a fight between warriors, it's good, however not the best. The fight with gilgamesh felt like a gamer using cheat on explosive gun, and spamming it against a tank, Gilgamesh itself is fragile but deal much damage, in other word, it's an intense fight between whose fall first. But against Saber Alter, everything seemed so freaking hopeless. It was more like a horror movie filled with waifu, rape, and explosion. From the moment we know that Salter can spam literal nuke, plus she is an absolute tank, made us understand the sheer desperate herc must've gone to just fight Salter. If only he is Alceides instead, Salter wouldn't even stand a chance.
I’m not even that big of a fan of naruto but kakashi vs obito was a work of art.
Naruto has the best hand to hand combat or Taijutsu fights in all anime.

Fate/stay night Heaven's feel is the best trilogy of movies I have ever seen and as a Visual novel reader Ufotable did a great job

Honestly just a pick between some like "Atsushi Nakajima and Ryūnosuke Akutagawa vs. Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald" or "Sakunosuke Oda vs. André Gide" or even "Ryūnosuke Akutagawa and Atsushi Nakajima vs. Ivan Goncharov"

I love the video , well done ! Sometimes people are asking me what are you watching , whereas I reply : all kind of things , movies , Tv series , documentaries , but what I really like is anime ! Funny thing they say to me that I'm such a child/kid , what's anime ? However their brain as the size of a peanut (no offense) cannot comprehend the workload put in these fabulous animations , perhaps a lifetime of drawing the talent, creativity , intelligence and experience , then again it comes down to the story which it's unique in every anime, also the music in every anime is absolutely amazing. I've lived so many emotions throught the years , I've laughed I've cried I've enjoyed every single anime show I've watch and I've also learnt so many valuable lessons that other people wouldn't even get close to them in their lifetime.
You touched my soul with most of these fights it reminded me of how I teared up when you l knew there is a nerve wrecking fight that is about to happen. Thanks for the video

Voting for Ufotable fights as best on the year is like voting for Meryl Streep to win the Oscar. I just missed at least as an honorable mention the Mirio Togata vs Chisaki on my Hero academia, that fight was so Epic and full of emotion i felt it shud have appeared in this vídeo. Other than that great vid, i agree with almost all of the winners.

my personal favorite for this year so far is from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime S2, episode 34, when Hakuro & Geld take their revenge on the 2 humans that invaded Tempest. Although it's mostly a 1 sided beatdown, it was just so satisfying and highly memorable
It was a good fight but not epic bro.
If we're talking Slime fights, I'd say Hinata and Rimuru's duel takes it, so intense and the variety of magic they both use makes it just fun to watch

Honestly think the Shirou/Rider vs Salter is the GOAT and absolute peak of fight animation. Only company I see beating this quality is Ufotable themselves. Mappa is good but Ufotable animation is just next level.
Agree 100% absolute GOAT fight, also the Salter vs Berserker is a strong contender. Im so exited for the JJK movie as well cannot wait.

You could've mentioned Fate/Apocrypha for 2017 since it had some really great fights at the end of the series as well as the fate grand order movies for 2021. Fireforce too deserved at least a mention. Also if you haven't watched it yet, the Madoka spin off Magia Record second season has some of the best animation I've seen in 2021.
You should also check out the Golem fight in Princess Conect Re: Dive that came out a few days ago since there were a lot of well known animators working on that and it looks pretty damn good.

By being honest and as objective as possible. There have been many amazing fights over the years, but that doesn't change the fact that the Raider vs Alter Saber fight from the last Fate movie was the best and longest we've seen. It is enough to mention 16 layers of animation created by one man, it already arouses admiration for superhuman work.

Looking back at the last decade of anime fights is actually really fucking awesome. While it's clear modern anime is pushing the boundaries for what is possible in anime, as showcased by the likes of ufotable and Mappa, but it's not in a way that makes older fights look cheap or unexciting. The current direction of anime action makes me appreciate where we've come from, and where we're headed.

For 2017, I would say Koyomi Araragi verus Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade aka Adult Shinobu, the Cinematography was SPECTACULAR, it put me on edge seat and mixing with comedy and the animation.. Splendid

Awesome list, I've watched so many shows thanks to your channel, but I must say I think the best fight from DB Super, and DB in general, was the final fight of jiren vs goku, frieza and Android 17. On a side not my favourite MHA fight has been lemillion vs overhaul and 3 of the 8 bullets

I think Berserker vs Saber Alter has the best fight of em all.
While other anime tried to make an action scene so fun, exciting or sad.
Herc vs Saber Alter just felt so atomic and desperately hopeless.
Herc vs OG saber is a fight between warriors, it's good, however not the best. The fight with gilgamesh felt like a gamer using cheat on explosive gun, and spamming it against a tank, Gilgamesh itself is fragile but deal much damage, in other word, it's an intense fight between whose fall first.
But against Saber Alter, everything seemed so freaking hopeless. It was more like a horror movie filled with waifu, rape, and explosion. From the moment we know that Salter can spam literal nuke, plus she is an absolute tank, made us understand the sheer desperate herc must've gone to just fight Salter. If only he is Alceides instead, Salter wouldn't even stand a chance.
That moment from Wagnaria in the beginning was perfect!
