The devil cannot "put lies and evil thoughts" into our heads. He can present them, bit it is up to us to accept or reject the thoughts. When a negative thought comes, don't meditate on it...try counteracting that thought by thinking of something else. We can choose what we think about.

God cannot destroy your soul... because He cannot LIE, nor can He deny Himself... and OSAS doctrine states that you are eternally secure... A polar bear has the power to tear you to shred, but when you are at the zoo, and there is a restraint on the Polar bear (fence, glass), what kind of fear of the polar bear do you have?
Same thing with the fear of God. With your OSAS lie straight from the pit of hell, God put a restraint on Himself and cannot anymore destroy your soul... So, God tells you to not fear those who cannot destroy the soul?.. therefore, God tells you to not fear God...
