    BACKGROUND STORY
We are steps2adventure, better known as Jordan & Annalise. We created the steps2adventure brand to inspire people to explore what the outdoors has to offer. Back in 2019 we always knew we wanted to travel, we were planning backpacking trips, train journeys.. you name it. Thankfully we came across the van life UA-camrs! As soon as we saw this way of life we knew this was it, this is how we want to live and travel. So, we bought a van… Not just any van, she’s a 2007 LWB Mercedes sprinter van, an absolute beast!! We have spent over 2 years converting her in-between work and some little adventures across the UK.
Come along with us for some epic adventures across the UK & Europe and everyday life in-between

Elodie Studler is an artist and created those colourful cows. She calls them the pop art cows. Based on Norman cows I think.

    Hi folks,
We travel to Normandy every year. If your looking to do something for a day or two Head up to the invasion beaches, start at Pegasus bridge then follow the coast road from Ouisterham to Arromanches to Port en Bessin Huppain to the American cemetery at Omaha beach, then on to point du Hoc, then grand camp Maisy to saint Marie du Mont to the church in Angoville au Plain (a must see) to Utah beach then back in st. mere Eglise!
It is honestly the best drive in Normandy.
If you need a good cheap supermarket go to Carrefour centre in Herouville -saint-clair ( it's a 5 min drive from Pegasus bridge) 😊

I'm from York and it's beautiful. The shambles is your best street and at the end is a little square , can't remember the name, but there's a bakery called the Cornish pastie shop or something like that and for years the Cornish pasties are better than in Cornwall and I'm married to a cornishman. Although we're French now and British . I think Mont Saint Michel is the 2nd most visited place in France after the Eiffel Tower, great off season, still expensive but ridiculous in summer with the crowds. We loved it but didn't buy anything 😊

Mont Saint Michael is one of 7 monasteries all in a perfectly straight line from Skellig Michael in Ireland through St Michael Cornwall, France, San Michele Piedmont Italy, Monastery of St Michael Symi Island Greece and Mount Carmel Jerusalem, Israel, and how did they do that all them years ago, amazing, loved the Europe trip 👍

This Australian says you should visit Bath, in Somerset, then Cheddar, in Somerset, before heading to Cornwall. Kind regards, Stuart (and my Bichon, Ted).

Bath is very nice, but just so you know, there’s a clean air zone for Euro 5 and older vans. It’s £9 a day and catches a lot of people out.

Careful parking in York we parked on a large council car park paid using the app when I got back had a ticket saying motor homes not allowed on that car park. It said on the app no vehicle restrictions on that car park but on the signs it did say no motor homes I used the app to pay so didnt see the sign. Was well annoyed and too rub it in further I am a camper van and there were loads of vans on the car park. I now ignore the app and always read the signs

Shambles in York is very old & maybe inspired Diagon Alley. Eat and have a pint at the Guy Fawkes Inn where Guy was born. See the Minster. Use a park & ride if you want to avoid the traffic and parking charges. There are some park ups and lots of caravan sites. Loads to see in York and Mr Chippy of course

You can get that fish and chips smell, without the mushy peas unfortunately 😂 on the íle d'oleron. It's a big queue but they're wonderful fish and chips, only open in summer unfortunately but it's the fish they catch themselves . It's at port cotiniere 😊

Great video as always. Not heard of the Roman city of Bath Jordan 🤔. It is well worth a visit. Also, about 12 miles from Bath, lies the beautiful village of Lacock, where some of Harry Potter was filmed in the abbey. If you visit Lacock, you must come to my home town of Corsham, 2-3 miles away, and home to the famous Corsham Court. Peacocks roam freely around the town, and a lot of Poldark was filmed there

it's a bit wet in York just now the rivers been up and flooded the pubs for a change, and the knavesmires nearly back to being 2 fields not lakes, but you can park on knavesmire road by the race course.it's only about a 20 minute walk into town if you go the bishopthorpe road way,its in the top 10 uk shopping streets.the shambles is were you want to be for harry potter, and the jorvik center for vikings.you'll have to put puppy in the carry case if you want to walk the walls.don't come in school holidays it gets rammed.
