@@benmar9638 i used to do that too since I was an FPS player on PC and that was the Go-To-Move then, but its very different in mobile and codm. Anyhow, just practice and eventually it becomes a muscle memory.
@@aceventura9678 depends on the situation, jump if I face a sniper (higher chance of them getting a hitmark) or a long range battle with an LMG or AR and I have immediate cover beside me, backslide away if it is cqc (usually shotguns and smg). Its not always about sliding being better, its also using the surroundings to your advantage that makes simple movements like just jumping effective too ;)
Jumping only makes you an easy target for guns that have vertical recoil, that is why dropshots were a thing back then during CQC. To be honest, I still use it more often than not. Especially when you have no cover while trying to reload
I love how when there is a complicated thing he explains it in steps and creates multiple videos to help improve and his tips also help with other things
I also advice people if the default scope is too large. Put on a Scope and get accustom to it in training mode and gradually increase your Scope size until you can use Default.
An important thing to remember when you are transitioning from auto-ADS to manual scope is that you need to be fast. Think quick because now you need to press the scope in button to actually aim and fire accurately. Also take extreme caution when facing a good smg user. I feel like they are the bane of snipers with their fast ttk and high mobility. As kith said, try to take gunfight from atleast 30 meters away. Most SMGs can't hit you from that far away with their strange recoil patterns. And enemy snipers are huge danger too. Nothing's more dangerous than an smg and sniper user in br.
Here are some tips if ur using sr in snd always pick up a secondary gun from a dead teammate or enemy because you'll always need it drop the knife it's obv useless when it comes to full auto or Oneshot guns i always do it and it's really effective i tell my teammates to pick up a secondary gun and they won't listen then we'll lose because they have too much confidence on making a quick scope so close to them so always pick up a secondary gun Edit: be aware of ur minimap that is literally ur eye's and if you spot a enemy in ur minimap start aiming where he is popping out so you can kill him immediately then change position it's always important to keep moving and staying at far range so you'll have enough time to aim at the enemy
okay part of me agrees and the other disagrees, the point you made to back up that you should always pick up a floor gun isn’t entirely worthy, that’s your experience of tm8’s. however, having a melee allows you to move quickly to those different positions with the sniper and if you put your melee out and have the correct movement when in those up close range gunfights- and instead of quickscoping- the melee can be very reliable.

Imagine playing ranked SnD, you're grandmaster V and one win away from legendary, but the last man standing is the tryhard sniper who somehow doesn't know that their secondary knives exist, and they try and try and try to get that close range sniper kill, but they end up dead
i highly recommend using a gun that doesnt have a big hitbox like the rytec and dlq where you can 1 tap to the crotch. instead use the arctic, svd, outlaw, and locus more coz you will get used to aiming much higher than you were before. it improves your aim a bit so better try it. also use gung ho for respawns if you're an aggressive sniper and just rushes the enemies i recommend the outlaw just because of the ads speed and fast mobility. it gives you a big advantage on close range (take it from me who's in the leaderboards for outlaw on garena servers)
this video really brings me back when i started playing codm, and i saw ur video 8 months ago about snipers and now i just had my first nuke of rank, i learned a lot from you kith!! pls dont stop making videos even until codm is dead
Based on my experience.. Tap to ads - feels faster but requires more skill, good for quickscoping. Tap and hold to ads - feels slower but easy to hit your shots because of stronger aim assist, good for hardscoping. It's kinda hard for me to master quickscoping with tap and hold which is why I switched.
My number 1 sniper tip for respawn sniping is using crossheir placement instead of pre aiming/scoping in because of the flinch (Edit: if you are pre aiming in respawns then you will get a huge amount of flinch since SnD is holding angles on where the enemies will go Repsawns is the opposite and it's about map control so crossheir placement is better in respawns then pre aiming scoping in but if the enemy is rushing you pre aim cuz they will rush you since your a sniper)
Forgot to mention anything about device types as well. Seeing as not everyone can play mobile on their phone for any number of reasons. Biggest one being having little to no free space and alot of stuff you need and can't delete. But generally one of the hardest devices to play on from my experience so far is tablets. Mostly because your fingers need to be alot more spaced out and the settings menu has a tendency to lie about where your icons are on screen because it's only really telling you where they are on a regular phone screen and stuff.
Ok garena and global players. My 1 sniper tips are: 1. Dont use melee with big range. It tends to be much slower than smaller ones. 2. Dont hard scope area's that are to low of chance for a enemy to rush. Because it will take the enemy time to think where to go to rush and hard scope the most papular spots to rush because most player tend to rush there. 3. Use dlq, rytec, artic (with stopping power),locus(with stopping power) for snd .and outlaw,svd,m21 ebr ,xpr for hp and dom
I kind of have a high sensi for my sniper and it’s around 160-170 and I use low gyro, I’ve been using it for a few days already and I think I finally found my perfect sensi for sniping
