India has added another 800+ million since then. And somehow, magically, its citizens expect a supply system that should periodically adjust to a large population's demands of goods and services? China is the only country on the same scale and has done a better job at achieving order/governance. Then again, they have earned it by brute force. Not to mention all the industrial activity has resulted in large-scale environmental damage - water/air/soil for which all of us will pay sooner or later. In comparison, the population of the U.S in 2021 is close to 330 million. The total land area is about 3.5 times that is of India, and an economy that is many times bigger. Picture India in 2021 if it were around 500/550 million people.

This is actually quite good. In the UK we do not even get a scan we just get told to stay at home, ring 111 who told us to stay at home. And no doctor wanted to see anyone which is understandable but still not as good as India. Even outside the pandemic I. 2018 my friend had to wait 2 hours for an ambulance in the uk and then 3 hours out side the hospital because there are no beds.

Goa , a two distt. state , with population of about sixteen lakhs only , the population of taluka /three police station in Delhi or Mumbai , is headed by a Chief Minister , dozen ministers and huge bureaucracy , on whom crores -crores are being spent , the huge amount of which can be spent on public utilities . Creation of tiny dot state like Goa is drain on Goan public exchequer .It needs to be reconverted into a Union Territory with limited bureaucracy . In Delhi , Goa , UP , Haryana and Karnatka , khaddar and netas have let down people . In Delhi , only three weeks back , I would have lost my only child of thirty two years for want of oxygen had we not got an oxygenated bed in a most miraculous manner . At my age of 68+ , I ran around in Delhi -Noida (UP ) with him for two days in schorching heat at 40 + to find oxygenated bed .

Goa , a two distt. state , with population of about sixteen lakhs only , the population of taluka /three police station in Delhi or Mumbai , is headed by a Chief Minister , dozen ministers and huge bureaucracy , on whom crores -crores are being spent , the huge amount of which can be spent on public utilities .
Creation of tiny dot state like Goa is drain on Goan public exchequer .It needs to be reconverted into a Union Territory with limited bureaucracy . In Delhi , Goa , UP , Haryana and Karnatka , khaddar and netas have let down people .
In Delhi , only three weeks back , I would have lost my only child of thirty two years for want of oxygen had we not got an oxygenated bed in a most miraculous manner .
At my age of 68+ , I ran around in Delhi -Noida (UP ) with him for two days in schorching heat at 40 + to find oxygenated bed .
Brave on you sister for openly commenting about the Govt's miserable failure. Why all the BJP Govt's have failed miserably in handling the Pandemic. Please correct if I am wrong.
Because they thought they are superpower and overconfident. They kept the borders open for the lust of money.
