1:25 “-he wasn’t raised like that...” Based on the evidence of how he was raised, this man is a liar. I’m sure deep down, he’s probably proud of his son.
He is choosing his words too carefully and that is suspicious to me. He is not showing remorse but arrogance. He is hiding his involvement as well as his knowledge of this attack.
His parents, family members, and friends keep saying that they are surprised and they don't know why he committed this massacre, but people don't wake up one day and become insanely violent overnight. There must have been clues long the way that they ignored and are in denial. Just like alcoholics, drug addicts and gamblers. They don't become full blown alcoholics, drug addicts and gamblers overnight. These kind of extreme behaviors build up slowly over time. People don't become this violent overnight. His family are in deep denial.
This doesn't have to with mental health he did due to American interventions there was no excuse whether he was angry or not he is 29 years old and as an adult he needs to be held responsible for his actions
I'm looking at the comments and I'm watching the video, and I feel like this guy is a father grieving for the loss of his son and is devastated by his actions. Furthermore it's obvious that English isn't his first language, so whatever the interviewer is trying to get out of him is hardly what the man fully wants to express. When people are in distress, their proficiency in using their second language goes down. The patterns of that are clear here. Finally, the man is probably worried that the government or the US might lash out at his family because of his son's actions. He's trying to choose his words carefully yes... because tensions are so high. If you really want to interview the man get a translator, speak to him in his native language. And be sympathetic for God's sake. He wasn't in on it. He didn't want his son to do this. Right now he's just trying to clean up the mess so his family doesn't get backlash for what they didn't do.
+J. Neville Groff The exact wrong reaction to this is to make it "us vs. them." The correct reaction is to give an increasing voice to the silent gay Muslims who will bring their communities out of the stone age the say way gay Christians did for theirs.
terrible questions from reporter.... He is a father who lost his son, can I see it as just that.a father and mother must have some responsibility in how his child was so soaked in hatred but the shooter did what he did and that's that. Leave this guy alone, He has lots to reflect.
A father who wants divine punishment for gay people who have no business with him and is also supportive of the Taliban's actions in Afghanistan deserves to be pressed a bit.
This guy is a bad human and a bad father. He proclaimed to be the exiled president of Afghanistan on social media. A normal person would never make such claims.
This man is a liar and he feels no remorse whatsoever, he says his son committed terrorism but he is not a terrorist? How does that even make sense? He is very arrogant and rude to the interviewer. Honestly, I feel that he and his family should be thoroughly investigated and if they are not completely cleared, they should be deported back to his country.
wow, morally it seems and does feel that you have to respond by love and not offend or hurt. All sons and daughters upbringing are based on their fathers and his father's tree as well as the mothers. This Father? Wow! Glad my dad wasn't like that.
They keep asking this man the same questions he must be an extreme shock losing his son and having no idea what was going on. He did not commit the ACT is Sunday. As you see he says we are family in this country and we must stay United because we are a family. I can guarantee you if there have been sleeper cells or are going to be sleeper cells in the future once they get here they change their mind because they realize how great of a Nation this really is and they love it and want to be part of the family with the freedoms that are at risk and arnott something we should take for granted any longer. Take the time to love your neighbor and take the time 2 tell your family you love them because we never know when our last breath will take place.
I think this message is detected to people in his country, that's why he's speaking a different language. So what I get from this video is a man who is running for president trying to explain the people of his country that he doesn't approve what his son did in America, but at the same time he can't seem too sympathized with homosexuallity because he's people would not vote for him. who agrees ?
Jeremy Battle Bullshit he wouldnt! what about Jodi Arias, or Scott peterson just to name a couple who were sooo friggan guilty, yet they thought they could fool everyone! NOT
Something is wrong! Either this dad is lying or this dad had the worst relationship with his son. I mean as a parent, how can this be a surprise to you?
All that term means is that if a Muslim is subject to harm for being a Muslim, they aren't in apostasy for lying to save themselves. It's actually a somewhat compassionate clause in Islamic jurisprudence.
He's bullshit .All he wants to keep on saying is that he's sad and that America is his family. He don't even look sad or act it. He just wants to tell social media what they want to here. It was getting very annoying the monotone in his voice. I'm sad, my family is sad, my friends are sad. I was like shut up already! You ain't sad!
Why is he defensive during the interview?? If your son did this, would you be defensive during an interview? Or, would you be very sensitive and open to questions? What is wrong with him?
A son is a son. The father knows what his son did is wrong. I guess many wouldn't realize in his shoes what he is going through unless you are a father. So unless you are a father raising of what your kid did, don't answer back!
1:25 “-he wasn’t raised like that...” Based on the evidence of how he was raised, this man is a liar. I’m sure deep down, he’s probably proud of his son.
No he’s not. This man sounds sincere. Muslims don’t support this terrorism. This shooting was an atrocious act and no Muslim can support this ever.
As a parent how can you ever know what goes on in your children's head? If I was father and I did see a red flag I would've taken action.
His son was gay and living in the closet.
1:26 “-He wasn’t raised like that” There is more than enough proof, he is a liar. What do you expect him to say? He’s is a devout Muslim.
What does islam have to do with this You racist
even i feel bad for the father since hes getting interviewed so much
He is choosing his words too carefully and that is suspicious to me. He is not showing remorse but arrogance. He is hiding his involvement as well as his knowledge of this attack.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He probably indoctrinated hatred in his son from an early age.
His son had control issues, he was violent even towards his ex wife, dude thought violence was the answer to what he could not have power over.
His parents, family members, and friends keep saying that they are surprised and they don't know why he committed this massacre, but people don't wake up one day and become insanely violent overnight. I SO AGREE WITH YOU!!!

nope however i did watch this video so there is a need / curiosity out here to see what the father has to say. Still, I feel bad for him.
I would like to believe what he said is true. I wish I could blindly trust him. But they are told to lie as a means to an end.
I appreciated the interview. Respectful, to the point & well rounded.
Such a nice personality he has...

He's a Taliban member -- yet denies Islam had anything to do with his family's morals.
I'm Muslim and I say that he committed a sin killing all those unfortunate people.

head of a sleeper cell....his son almost blew his cover. he's just gonna let the dust settle before the "real" attacks.
this guy is very very strange---I would watch him 24/7
I agree 100%Allan Brown
The wife she knew too
I agree
Jeremy Battle Bullshit he wouldnt!
what about Jodi Arias, or Scott peterson just to name a couple who were sooo friggan guilty, yet they thought they could fool everyone! NOT
oh ok.... sorry
Something is wrong! Either this dad is lying or this dad had the worst relationship with his son. I mean as a parent, how can this be a surprise to you?
It's Omar's fault not his dad's fault, stop showing sympathy for that psycho.
Taqiyaa!

i feel like his parents knew

easy, hes a muslim
Exactly my point!
He is neither shocked nor ashamed of his son.
He's a FATHER you idiot
@@TheFishE11 ?? So am I. What's your problem
in this warped father's head, does his son's murder rampage help or hurt his chances to become the Afghan President?
What. That makes no sense .
What's in your head

He is not his father ...🤷♂️
it's all lies
doesn't seem too emotionally destroyed over the loss off his son.
Poor guy. I feel for him.
deport his to the Taliban - this proves trump is right, we cannot trust Obama's vetting process
Don’t trust afghans that’s it lol
Iran too
Seem slike a good man
This guy trained his kid for this. Brainwashed and sacrificed his own [gay] son for some recognition and political power.
Speak what you are built of.😅.
Taqiyya.
you know whats up
