- Welcome to the first of hopefully many posing related videos where I will take 1-2 figures and walk through recreating one or more poses with them!
Posing Ep 1 focuses on trying to achieve Luffy's iconic Gear2 pose and for Zorro we try to spread his legs out for a more dynamic stance!

I'm one of the people who made a cut in one of Zoro's skirt pieces. I cut the one without the little gold bits, so that you cant see the cut when both pieces are on. I've had mine for about 4 months, and I would recommend cutting it. I haven't had any issues with it tearing further then I cut, but i think it definitely could if you stress the piece too far.

Luffy can definitely hit a very cool Gear 2 pose. The only part where it fails is that the head can’t get high enough to see his face well (it does a decent enough job though), but as explained, sticky tack solves that. As for the hat, Gear 5 Luffy’s hat will do the trick. Honestly, I don’t get the negativity that figure gets, I love the guy, especially for the price. I will get Zoro, Sanji and Gear 5 Luffy as well, but Zoro does scare me a bit and this video is certainly a good guide on posing him
After watching the entire video I gotta say, this guy knows his figures. One of the things I see often with people who buy figuarts is that they expect these to be as durable as a 10 dollar figure. And while I do understand that the higher price point comes with the expectation that these figures shouldn’t break, which they absolutely shouldn’t, these aren’t really meant to be played with like a Playmates Ninja Turtle. These are higher end, these are for the more serious collector and these are more for display than play. That being said, as the video shows, they can be posed very well. All you need is to know your figure, where the strengths are, where the limitations are and use that to your advantage and this video explains that beautifully.

I hope they remake the Wano Zoro, he’s one of my favorite characters and it’s disappointing how bad his articulation is- especially for a character who SHOULD be flexible

I still think that SHF Zoro have a terrible design, posing action figure shouldn't be such a hassle, the robe hinders the the articulation of the legs. the arm keeps popping out, you need to modify it, just to fully utilize its articulation, if you're the type of person that just pose it once and display it, this would be passable, but if you're the type of collector that likes taking pictures of your figures in different poses, or does stop motion video, then this would be a terrible action figure for you. Variable Action Heroes did a better job in making a Zoro action figure.
Man I think doing stop motion with Zorro is some type of hell punishment 🤣 But you are right, depending on your usecase Zorro can be ok, or far from it if you want to do lots of regular posing with him. Though I have found he gets easier to work with the more you pose him.
I have the Zoro VAH Wano and i have legs problem with it the after 2 years version tho it's amazing and ye you are right I like taking pics of them and that's why I skip on this one I was really Hype for this but I'm really disappointed for his articulation
