Wow. It's rare to find people like you who are bold enough to expose bad agents and tell the truth even when it hurts.. This type of content is a must watch!
Wow, such a valuable post! You’ve made it easy to grasp the roles of different real estate agents, which is crucial for making informed decisions in the market. Well done!
Personally for me the 1st one was a serious red flag. Salesperson type is about commission over mission. What I believe is more important is mission comes first before commission.
One point about the comparison with lawyers and discounting, particularly criminal lawyers. Most will work on a block fee basis, as opposed to hourly rates, because 1) most of their clients are on legal aid 2) those who aren't, aren't exactly wealthy either, and may not have a ton of money or even a job at the moment depending on the circumstance of the offences). They also do it this way cause they want to make sure they actually do get paid something, in the likely event their client ends up going to jail/prison and then can't pay a thing.
Interesting that's good to know. In our business if the property doesn't sell no one gets paid. You can put all this work into a client and if they decide not to sell or buy you get zero. I think the compensation method in real estate is flawed but that's opening up a can of worms so I'm not really going to get into it here.
