What are the odds. My call from late last night was this exact furnace with the same issue. I diagnosed it as a bad board and when I returned today, I found out the hard way it was actually the stupid high limit all along. Moral of the story is to check your limits! I know I will from now on!
I had this happen to me about 5 years ago the thermostat was fine but the blower fan would not turn off unless I turned off the breaker to it and it turned out to be a bad furnace and if I remember right it was at least over 30 years old and there were cracks in the heat exchanger.
The Spanish is good, just wish there were subtitles so some of us could learn some Spanish :) . Also, maybe you can tell us the wire color and where you are installing them
Curtis is a very well educated man with multiple degrees and speaks multiple languages. He has spoken of his path in previous videos. It's worth noting most schools require student to learn a second language, most opt for Spanish. No different than someone in Canada taking French or Spanish as a second language.
@@patrickinottawa27 I’m an HVAC contractor out of Southern California and took Spanish in high school, but I lost most of it over the years. Thinking about taking night classes to relearn it. Anyways, thanks for the videos Curtis. Most of my background is install, so you’ve truly helped me on the many service calls I go on nowadays.
Never apologize for speaking a language other than English. I am jealous of you being bilingual in Spanish and English. Knowing another language allows you to enter into another culture and experience things that you would otherwise not get to... in addition to making friends that you otherwise would not
If you have come to America for a better life legally learn English my niece was married to a Latino man he had the same look on this subject speak English
Just wondering if your grandfather was learned Comanche or any other Indian language when they came to America you take time for the new camer to learn the language it's not as easy as you think
They may know enough English to get by most of the time, but prefer to speak their native language especially when describing something very important. My grandparents spoke English but when the conversation got serious or they didn’t know the English translation they’d switch to Italian.
Dang Curtis, you speak Spanish better then most people that speak Spanish. LOL! Great video....

Your Spanish is very good. It helps being bilingual as a Tech, because you will be recommend by the Spanish speaking community in your area.
Nice work Curtis.
Ran into this a few times in the trade. Caused always by a T-stat or a stuck relay (rare but happens).
Excellent work!!

I wish I could be as fluent in Spanish as you!!
Many employers pay their bilingual employees extra. Good for business.
Como esta Ested . Probably not spelled right. At least you wasn’t choking up in that attic
Aint no forgiveness needed, you at least have the balls to learn a different language where others wont open their minds and learn

So stupid to put a downflow furnace in an attic. Hilarious
That’s excellent that you speak Spanish fluently! Your mother or father was of Hispanic descent?
I had a girlfriend like that once
your videos are being preemptively shanghai'd by multiple ads, Grrrrrrrrr
Where are you originally from? If you don’t mind me asking. Just curious how you’re fluent in Spanish.
