    Thank you for the great demonstration of this pedal. The best demo video of this pedal- in fact it was so good I just bought one. This sounds just so Much dirtier and grittier to me than the regular SansAmp Bass Driver that I have -tried some different pedals just didn’t work for me but boy this sure does- great job thank you

    It’s awesome the way you’ve shown how the pedal works in all scenarios. 🤘🏻😎

    In my opinion (after YEARS of using this) I'd argue it's one of the best Bass pedals on the market.
    The only pedal I have a brand-new backup of sitting in a drawer, just in case.

      I just got a vt-500 amp which has the same preamp. It's so damn easy to dail in from Jameson to Geddy Lee and a turning in between. It just sounds so good without constant fiddling with 900 knobs.

    As a working bassist I can't recommend this pedal enough. It sounds excellent straight to a PA with speaker simulation, Or plugged into the house bass amp set flat. Even if using an actual SVT, I still like to use this pedal for the liberty of having a powerful EQ at my toes. Combined with an ampeg optocomp, I pretty much never fail to get a satisfying sound (in my opinion), wherever I play, from small clubs to large theatres and festival stages.

      Do you place the optocomp before or after the sansamp?

    • @cmvb
      @cmvb 10 місяців тому +1

      @@kehlcityhardcoreprobably before. Compressor first

      That's the same set-up i use for the studio, i also use a Boss EQ-200 before the OptoComp though. MASSIVELY versatile and sounds fantastic!

    I have one, its a take anywhere SVT Simulator, plug it into any amp, pa, and get your sound, I used mine with
    an Orange guitar Amp, and it kicks it like an SVT

    I love all your reviews/demo's. They are incredibly useful. Is there any chance you'll cover the BDI21 by Behringer? Supposedly it should be a good (or at least decent) Sansamp Bass Driver alternative.

      Oh sick! Can't wait. I think that paired with the Ultimate Drive will be a fantastic budget solution for mean metal bass tones without an amp.

    After playing with this version and the older one (non DI), what can you tell is different about them? As far as your videos go they seem the same aside from the extra features of the newer pedal

    • @BassStuff
      @BassStuff  Рік тому +4

      I feel they are pretty much the same but I remember being really impressed with the old one. To be honest I'll probably watch my videos to compare them 😅 . That's one of the reasons I do this. What you feel playing the pedals can be sometimes misleading.
