Good vid mate- is it barbed hooks only, it’s a bit unusual coz it’s usually barbless hooks only?
Yes mate, micro barbed only - agree it’s unusual with general fishing, but lots of carp lakes don’t allow barbless I’m finding.
Made me chuckle when sent the boat out to look for groups of fish in a pool which holds 750 😂
Never pull for a break either, just pop the rod on the rest for 15mins and see if it works it way out buddy and if not let owner know. Now a potential tethered fish

Ha - have boat will use it! Didn’t really help me in the end, but kept me entertained for a while!
Excellent point on pulling for a break. I left the rod loose in the pod for a good 10 minutes and no movement, so had to pull in the end - edited that bit out for brevity. Should be no tethering as the rigs were all safe and would have pulled free. Good point though pal, thanks for raising, appreciated.
Workzone make awesome lights I used to use two of them and they’re rechargeable I would charge one whilst using one then vice verse I think they’re only a tenner aswell mate last around 3-4 hours

What do you think I should do ar the end of the month when I go? What peg (double) and I don’t know how to fish zigs so should I learn or are bags fine?
Hi mate. End of the month will be different again. I expect bags close in will be effective. If it’s mild, I would try book and en end peg, as you can get into shallower water, ideal for bags. I think you should also try fishing a zig as it is a good skill to have in the bank, and is actually good fun! By then, you might want to be feeding over the zig via spod or catapult. Let me know how you get on.

That’s not really my thing mate, there are no bass in the UK. Although I definitely have a go if I had the chance. Are there any carp where you are?

@@KirkGranger haha it was us having a social my mate died who we normally go with so having a get together and scattering his ashes in the lake
