Awesome sideways drive! A few questions: 1. is this still on Michelin Alpin 5 winter tyres like the other recent videos? 2. Is it possible to post the approximate location of the video? Especially in central Europe (Germany and Switzerland) it's not always easy to find such roads where it's legal to drive.
@@zivacmarko it may not be easily believed, but only finding an appropriate location in D or CH can be quite hard. On most of the B-roads the snow will be more or less shoveled by the time you'll arrive there and it is anyway prohibited to drive on gravel mountain roads where it won't be shoveled. So it may sound funny, but it can be a real pain to set a target and have some proper fun like the one you seemed to enjoy :) Happy new year by the way!
@@alpanex21 I think it's best to go very late or very very early mornings. And perhaps try Northern Italy? I wouldn't risk driving like this in CH, but Italy should be more relaxed.
That's the climb to Passo Giau from Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy... Being a not so frequented high mountain pass (2236m), they usually clear the road only when it stops snowing. During snow storms they even close the road if necessary.
I drive in track mode, for downhill i am using both track and normal mode… If you are in track mode you get a bit more oversteer, rear is more playful when you are on throttle, and for that reason when going downhill i sometimes put it in normal, it is a bit easier to drive you dont have to be so fast on the steering wheel… Still getting to know the car, so trying between normal and track, but i think track is faster on snow
@@zivacmarko Thx for your reaction! Wish you a lot of fun in your GR Yaris. You also drive at the Nürburgring i see?! I have driven there a lot since 2008 with several yeartickets but the last few years i drive less.
Buy a cheap car that you can practice on, used winter tyres and get some hours of driving in the snow, best to start on some parking lot where you have a lot of space… It’s important that car is cheap becouse you will crash when you are learning and training 😅🙈maybe some old bmw rwd or something similar
The rear vision mirror position is exactly why people should not buy this car. It's too small and the rear vision mirror blocks forward vision when driving and that lack of roof height of the driver and passenger
Шумдук, керемет!
Биздин ашууларга жарайтурган унаа экен!

It's most likely not legal to drive this way in most of Europe lmao good video anyway.

Looks fun.
This looks pretty fun. I think I want a little hot hatch.
It’s a great car, if you can buy it, dont hasitate, you won’t be disappointed
@@zivacmarko But man it's so expensive. It's 45k USD in my country. Also, what ratio AWD does it have?
Nice driving man
Pěkná práce a krásné cesty! 👍
great fun! maybe you need a spacer to have the steering wheel more near to your chest.
Its ok like this for me… not a problem when i extend my arm in full lock…
But yes maybe for someone would be better
Where did you film this? In witch modus did you drive?

Yes, last year i did 5-6 trips there, hope this year will be even more driving
@@zivacmarko you come with the Yaris or with a BMW?
I drove only with BMWs… sold my e92, bought GT3 so i’m really looking forward to this season
Awesome video 😊
Is that an oneway road or can you find a car going on oposite direction?
great car control and awesome roads! what mountains are these? would love to take my gr out for a road trip
They are the powerful Dolomites!

@@zivacmarko Thank you very much (^o^)
Are you using handbrake in the hairpins?
Great driving!
It works perfect on GR so i use it in those tight slow corners
Yeah, it's the beeping

Dream location. Is it in the Alps?
Yes
@@zivacmarko where exactly? :)

😮 50/50 ?
Yes i think on the video all is on 50/50 but i sometimes use 60/40, mostly downhill
رائع ✌️
