I remember I played QB in football for Queens,Ny Springfield Gardens,11413 Campus Magnet Bulldogs in the year Summer 2006E.O aka E.T those was the decade of my teen years.
I like but one thing u said is power doesn’t matter but power does u can train accuracy but arm power is just genetics I don’t care what u say yea u can develop a stronger arm overtime but someone born with power will always be ten steps ahead of someone that isn’t period point blank
Do not ever try to coach a kid outside his personality. You DO NO have to act like a movie jock to play QB. Check the hall of fame. Starr, staubach, Montana, moon, rheisman, Favre, and doin to be Rodgers. No speeches, no ra-ra junk, no screaming and yelling. Leaders produce. Talk is cheap.
@Myles David that is TV and movies. The cameras aren’t on Tom Brady when he’s joking with the ball boy only when he’s getting hit which is actually quite rare and should be rare. My son just smoked a big talker QB with all the jock talk and ball flipping tricks. The dude had been the man on that team for 3 years and all the kids ran harder for my son and the focus level of practice jumped up because they knew the throws were coming in hot and accurate. He didn’t say anything but his cadence, which is strong. He pushed the pace on all the team drills as well. He is in the top 25% on speed not the fastest but he was first or fastest on almost everything due to effort. This fall he’s gonna smoke another jock talker a year older because the players want the ball, not a speech. What you really want is the crowd to gasp the first time they see a kid sling a rocket down field for a TD. Then you know you’re “developing” something. Lastly jock talkers always teach horrific mechanics to kids and have them throwing it like a dart with terrible footwork.

Have a good day god love you
there is a type of launch mechanic for a given distance
When I throw the ball, it shakes. Because?
When I take the ball to throw I double my wrist?
Are you still teaching bounce, bounce throw?

Step one
My shoulder hurts when I throw...it’s probably because of bad form
Well you look like your 100yrs old OG.

Bro you’ll get use too it don’t worry
Stretch regularly. Do band work to strengthen little muscles in shoulder. This will 100 help
