I feel like Mimic was the one who killed Sammy. Remember Candy Cadet's story in Ruin? Most people thought the story was about Cassie but, I feel like there is more to it. I don't think Candy Cadet can tell stories about the future, cause yhey didn't happened yet. However, it can tell another story that's a paralel to Cassie's. "History repeats itself" they say. I think the Mimic always uses the same tricks and tactics. Luring children by using their loved ones' voices is one of them. In Candy Cadet's story we learn that a momster lures a boy by mimicking his mother's lullaby. The lullaby seems to make the boy feel safe? Where have we seen this before? The Puppet. Charlie feels like there is no threat around as long as her music box plays. And it's been mentioned that the mother has left him at home. Perhaps to get him his birthday gift? Just like how Cassie's was. Honestly, I doubt even William knows what happened to Sammy after he left with his mother. But to me it feels like in the novels Henry could have decided to end his own life after he hears Sammy's death on the phone. Honestly, I think Mimic killed Sammy to get back at Henry. If Edwin was Henry than he left Mimic to babysit his children, so the Mimic knows Sammy. He could be the boy from Candy Cadets' story in RUIN. And in Candy Cadets' story mother seemed very aware of what the Mimic was. Perhaps his husband's creation?
Mimic 100% isn’t a thing in the Silver Eyes Trilogy, and Sammy isn’t a character in the games. We have direct confirmation from Scott on that second part. Though, it’s definitely a cool theory if he were to be a games character and was killed through unknown means.

We already have exact confirmation from Steel Wool that the Mimic has been around since before FNaF 2 on the timeline anyway. Also, it’s buried somewhere on reddit. Scott used to (and sometimes still does) go around answering questions there. Charlie and Henry were the only two SE characters added to the game franchise.

Now this is interesting. Does this mean that all the members are keeping some sort of secrets from each other that only some others know? Like Mike, Henry, Elizabeth, and William know about who killed Charlie, maybe no one knows Mike was a security guard for multiple locations and find out later or maybe CC knew but no one else did, maybe Mike possessed Nightmare Foxy...things like that.
William doesn't deserves this family or these friends. And the longer Henry keeps this from the kids, the more broken the kids will be when they find out. The truth always has a way of coming out, one way or the other. And children feels when their parents are hiding something from them. I also heared from somewhere that when a kid has to be nice to someone who hurt them, it breakes their psychology. Even if that person just yells at them, it's enough to scare that kid away

And if I’m completely honest I don’t really care for your opinion on my au, the afton kids don’t hate William and they aren’t psychologically breaking so please don’t comment this because it is literally a gacha AU not a real life scenario so please stop acting as if this is a real thing happening to people because my comment section is not a “fun” fact area
