I live in Agra..Taj is lot more beautiful then it is shown in this Video of Abrar Bhai.Taj is closed on friday for its maintenance n cleanliness. It really a Different n Amazing experience when you see it personally.

Taj Mahal is part of Indo-Islamic architecture. It is defined as Hindu + Muslim architecture. But except the dome shape and calligraphy of doors there's nothing Islamic , all of them are Hindu architecture. Specially the Mosque near it , you can see Rajasthani influence.

Shah Jahan married mumtaz's sister immediately after she died. Also mumtaj died while delivering 14th child. Hands of builders were cut after completion of Taj Mahal. Indian wealth was used to make it instead of using it for public welfare.

Monument Taj Mahal was built according to persian architect by technicians brought from Persia. Many other monuments at Agra were built according to persian architect. I have visited thrice Agra for sight seeing. There are many daily train services from Amritsar to Agra. Please also be informed that non veg. dishes are sold by weight at Dhabas in city Agra but not in Delhi. Thanks.

मेरे दादाजी ने बहुत पहले एक बार बताया था कि 1922 में आंधी तूफ़ान के दौरान ताजमहल पर बिजली गिरी थी और कुछ पेड़ भी उड़कर आ गिरे थे जिस से एक चौथाई हिस्सा टूट के गिर गया था | .... अंग्रेज सरकार इसको दोबारा बनाने में कोई रूचि नहीं ले रही थी क्योंकि उस समय हिन्दू पक्ष ने इसके नीचे मंदिर होने की जांच कराने की मांग भी कर दी थी |.... लेकिन जब मुस्लिमों ने आगरा शहर में दंगे करने शुरू कर दिए तो आखिरकार सरकार को इसकी मरम्मत करानी पडी | .... ये और बात है कि मरम्मत के काम के बहाने उस वक्त के कलेक्टर ने इसके दीवारों में जड़े हुए कीमती नग और चांदी के वर्क निकाल लिए थे |

Now Shah Jahan planned to build another Taj Mahal exactly opposite and behind current Taj Mahal, on the other side of Yamuna, which would be Black Taj Mahal. This is when Aurangzeb arrested Shah Jahan and put him in Red Fort for rest of his life, from where he could see Taj Mahal. Aurangzeb asked him to choose between Chana and Gehu ( Wheat) to eat for rest of his life, Shah Jahan chose Chana
