Cheers JC - yea was a good set - not lots but plenty for two...Great with the fam, set then lax out have a swim or a surfcast with the kids then bring it in with the kids help :-)
Hi JJ They differ in cost depending on what accessories that comes with it, 2nd hand or new etc but you will roughly spend anywhere between 2500 - 4k. Stevo brought a 2nd hand one with not to many problems - if buying 2nd hand try to push for a try before you buy. He's came with 3 sets of battries also. Cost I think was around 3k Tight lines
We usually have a mix of squid and mullet to start with but our fav is fresh Kahawai, I normally flick the surfcast out first in hope by the time Stevo sets up the seahorse I have one on but if not hopefully for the next set if needed. Tight lines
Stay at the Top10 Whatuwhiwhi with the family - all these spots are with in 5-10mins from there. This spot is at Puheke (Puweke) - turn of towards Rangiputa then just before getting there you turn right to Puheke :-)
We use a mixture - squid and mullet or if we catch a fresh Kahawai which is great to use - Mullet and Kahawai is great as has tough skin which stays on a little better. Fish will even have a go at just the skin so have a better chance at hooking up. Tight Lines
Hahahahaha yip my pronunciations are pretty bad - wish I did have Maori in me to understand how to pronounce these places properly and be able to rattle these off correctly especially because I love these places so much...I do get to know how to say most of them but soon as the cam comes out - back to the old ways Tight lines

Hello my friend, I like what you do, it's really fun. I have a question what is the cost of the whole system of fishing what you use

Nice work. What size hooks did you use? Are you using circle hooks?
Cheers man - yea just use the usual longline circle hooks, not sure on size but roughly a 4/0...
Wow I love where you going with all these fishing spots especially this one, where in the north is this bro? Great to stay up there with the children

Where I can find this
This is the seahorse kontiki - you can by new from most fishing places or from the seahorse website or second hand from Tme...
What is the bait for hunting?
