I see this as a good thing, Wesker plays a big part in both RE 0 & CV.
Wesker needs his build up before his glorious return. We can also test proper co-op with RE 0 remake before RE 5 to get it just right.
Or just dump that idea in the dumpster where it needs to go. Co-Op wrecked Dead Space 3 and it's not necessary for Resident Evil. I'm hoping some of the games will still be scary going foward.

Capcom IT IS going that way, You can be sure of that. They are already kneeled in re 4 remake, censorship in deaths ( tho Thats not a new thing, censored deaths are thing since 5 ) so lets only count the censor ship in the female characters. Almost all the original counterparts of the suits are exactly accurate: Ashley armor tho its a Lil different, Luis , wesker, the suits are the exact thing. But the dress adaptation from Ada is quite different and less revealing, from all suits, why THAT one exactly had to be changed and not just copied? Cuz they kneeled. Also pop star suit Ashley never Made into the Game , we neither got the original versión of Ashley suit where she doesn't have pants , if You think about it , theres no female character that shows skin on all the Game, unlike the original. I loved RE5 but never played CV and always felt like I was missing out on some good story, so the remake would be a good opportunity for me to finally play it. They're probably just remaking these before RE5 though, I'm sure RE5 will follow eventually. Personally, I only want RE5 to be remade if they keep all the ooga booga enemies from the marshlands. That's my favorite part.
