It still feels unreal that he's gone. Yet his legend will be passed down generations to come as long as we all stay strong.

Yeah, that’s probably because his upload schedule has been even more trash since he got cancer. After maybe 2-3 years, we’ll finally see that only others are posting about him/some of the content he used to make. But he won’t.

It’s already been over a month, time is supposed to heal but I’m not anymore over it than I was when we learned. This video brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Alex for all of the joy and laughter that you have gifted us over your time as technoblade. All these memories will never be forgotten and your memory will live on forever. Rest easy king, we love you ❤️

I still can't believe he's gone, its been a month but it's still so hard to accept it. I never met him IRL, I never even played with him. but I felt a kind of friendship with him, he truly cared for every one of us. he did everything he could to give us joy, and to make us smile. he truly was a king and a legend. wherever Technoblade is now, I have a feeling he still cares for all of us. rest in peace Alex, you fought a good fight, enjoy your victory feast. He was a friend despite I never talked to to him irl but when I needed help he got me on disc somehow and I will never forget how he helped me
I never talked to him but losing him feels like losing an old friend. it's a sad, longing feeling knowing that we will never get a random upload notification from his channel ever again.

I never knew him before he died. I wish I could watch him... ( I know I can but it will never be the same) I am in tears writing this. It just feels so unreal. I might get people saying "why are you so upset? You never watched him." I'm sad because I never got to I feel as if it's may fault. Rest high king. ♥️👑
it feels like he’s just taking a long break from the internet, but when i see tribute videos of him i feel numb and a little depressed. i hope we get over it and will not forget about him.

Thank u Alex for helping countless people including myself see the light in these dark times. Techno was a god among mortals, and after defeating us he has ascended to take on his own kind.
He meant so much to me. I never met him and yet I just wanted to be around his voice. His sense of humor made me laugh so much, and he influenced my personality and how I act a tremendous amount. I watched him well before 1 million and consistently watched right at 1 million. I can’t believe he’s gone.
I feel sad for the next generation that couldn't experience this legend

There has got to be a rule that every time you watch a techno vid you cannot get off of the video no matter if you’re bored or not
I almost cried again to this video after I got over the lost and depression from finding out he died
every now and then i go to the Hypixel lobby shrine and write a little note as if i was talking directly to him, telling him things that have happened in the world, how his friends are doing and and how much the community misses him. This way i feel like he isn't entirely gone, even now he is probably watching over his close friends and family and in the back of my head i still hear him shouting "PHIL LOOK OUT!" whenever i see a baby zombie in philza's streams.

Once again to clarify: The art is NOT mine.
I wish I could credit all of the artists but the truth is I can't. Most of these came from depression scrolling on twitter less than 48 hours after his passing. Even if I went back now there is no way I can find the OP vs reposters with their own goodbye messages. The fan art from the MCYT community is incredible and my goal was to highlight the outpouring of love and support in a transformative format. My video is not monetized at all. I am not profiting a cent off of anyone else. I just wanted to say goodbye to Alex (Techno) in a meaningful way.

I'll never forget the day one of his streams saved me, or all the wonderful memories of videos he left behind. The second I saw that notification I froze, I couldn't click it, and broke down when I did before it even started. I knew what it meant, I've still been crying every night after, and I didn't sleep for 3 days after finding out. I'm still a mess, the only thing that's kept me sane about it was some random dream I had where I got lost when I was running away, ironic because I always ran away to his videos for help, and I ended up in some snowy mountains. I found him, even though I couldn't see him clearly through the snow, and for some reason in the dream I was a dog... looked exactly like an mc dog, I think, and I jumped around in the snow and followed him while he talked to me. I can't remember anything he said, and even despite that and me understanding it's just a dream, it felt comforting. I'm trying to hold on, but to be honest, he was the closest thing I have to a friend right now, and the fact I'll never get to meet him or even thank him burns so much.
I knew Technoblade, and he isn't dead, Alex, who only his friends truly knew, has died, and he'll be remembered for the legend he left behind. A man of chaos of strategy who brought down tyranny, a brave warrior who never backed down, an immortal soul who esited to spite god, a life saver, a hero, and a legend. An individual never to be forgotten or lost to time, a legacy forever remembered. I fully expect to see him on the throne of which he has kicked off god by the time I die.

The sad part I cried about in his death was when I realized that, that's it. Never again will we see a new trophy among the thousands of trophies on his shelf. The other thing is that his Minecraft account will never be used ever again. I know it's stupid but the account he used that led him to victory countless amounts of times in the past decade won't ever log on to Minecraft ever again.
It's understandable. I feel the same way to some degree. For the rest of our lives on this earth we will never again get to share in his experiences. There are no more battles to be fought, jokes to be told, or stories to share. All that remains is his legacy. All we can do is honor him and do our best to never forget him, as Wilbur asked us to do.

A few weeks ago I was driving up to Maine to spread my great grandmothers ashes, and on the way we saw this huuuge field of potatoes and in front of it, next to the road, was a graveyard. A little tiny one, only a few graves. Felt nice.
