Fantastic! ...and the Father of the Year goes to "Dad", aka Scout Man Steve! Making memories to last a lifetime! Otis sends you a big 'ol tail wag, Petal. He would give you a big Berner bump and may even knock you over if he met you. Love the "but dad"...I too was known for that! :-) Good to see you out and about Steve...take great care of that family of yours and hope you are looking forward to a wonderful weekend!
This comment really made me chuckle, as it's so true! She's a little nutter for sure and would quite easily talk most people to death, maybe I should get her to train in interagation 🤣 I'll have to get her to watch one of your videos, she loves dogs and I think she would love Otis. I'm out camping tomorrow, so I'm super happy and it's a Bank Holiday weekend so even better! Have a great one Bruce 👍
Hey Steve, just bought that Kayak yesterday thanks to your videos, I'm taking my 4 year old daughter to Blessington Lakes tomorrow, theres loads of Rivers and Canals here in Dublin, looking forward to getting out in it :) Liked and Subbed! Happy Kayaking from Ireland mate, Joe :)
Ah that's awesome Joe, I hope you and your daughter thoroughly enjoy it. If she's anything like my little girl she will love it! All 4 of my kids keep badgering me to go out in it, so it's most definitely getting it's moneys worth out of it. Thanks for liking and subscribing, that's really appreciated 👌
Mate the image quality on your vid is outstanding 👏 Looks like 4K. Petal makes me laugh. Quality morning out with your daughter 💕 I miss my children being that young and innocent. I'm just a bank and loan advisor now 😂🤣👍 See ya Saturday mate.
Thanks dude, it's just 1080p. I'm using a mirrorless camera which has a fairly big sensor. I was jammy to pick a £300 camera off of a woman who sold it for £100 👊 Mate she's a little nutter, but I know what you mean, my 13 year old is already going that way. Yeah Saturday is going to be epic, can't wait 👍
Loving your videos, thank you for sharing 😊 We are buying our Itiwit 2 man kayak in the next couple of weeks, very excited 😁Hope we have as much fun as you are. What size paddles did you buy? Just wondering if you've had an problems with them being too short because of the width of the kayak. Petal is an absolute star, a brilliant kayaking companion 😀
Ah that's awesome, you will definitely have a great time in it! I got the split paddles that are adjustable to 235cm, but I could do with a little more length in all honesty. Petal definitely made it an interesting trip down the canal 🤣 Thanks for watching 👍
Yeah the kayak is still ace, recently done a trip on the Norfolk Broads with it! I got the on the water licence that covers you for most, but it turns out you need an independent one for here, so I haven't been back since.
Where are you thinking of going, down the local beach would be a good start, nothing required to launch there. Just take your time and have fun, I'm no expert but I have learnt a bit. Most rivers you will need a licence, but some like this one I found out have their own scheme. If you're proper worried, book yourself on a kayak course, there are many around that can teach you for a reasonable price.
@@ScoutManSteve thanks, I live about 20 meters from the Kennet and Avon canal. Only just started looking into it. Just don't want to buy the wrong boat and also find that the license is like £1000 🤣
She is so cute! Love the hat!
Thanks Rae, she's a little chatter box that's always hyper, had to stop her trying to jump out a few times 🤣
@@ScoutManSteve 😂😂
Good stuff Steve, all the best Chris 👍
Thanks mate 👍

Lol, she does make good entertainment 🤣 😆 😂
Did you get a river licence? Your thoughts still good on the kayak?

@@ScoutManSteve thanks for your reply. Any top tips you could give a novice who has never been on a kayak before?
