With the feats that these guys perform, over and over again, I'm just amazed that they don't make mistakes all the time. Their talent is beyond belief...
Honestly, as a performer myself, I'm really glad I saw this. I can't even begin to say how much it helps knowing that everyone is prone to mistakes, even the pros...
I disagree with the bad performers comment. It takes A LOT to do what these people do and after doing close to 10 shows back to back in a week with little break, minor mistakes can be made. Even the best of us make mistakes. I will say one thing though they finish their acts and do it in fine form.
Cirque du soleil's artists and performers are incredibly talented people. they are ALLOWED to make mistakes any time they want because their acts are really spectacular and highly risky. Soooo much respect for them!
Algunos no me parecen tan "bloopers" pudieron haberse herido de gravedad. Estas personas arriesgan mucho sus vidas y cuerpos en cada acto. Pero aun así, gracias por lo que hacen ;)
I've seen Alegria here in Lisbon-Portugal last december, and for the first time, after 7 shows that i've seen, i saw the first fail from Circe performers. The act... Russian Bars. Two times in a row ... I think that "fear" took advantage those the second fail. Luckely no one got hurt. These guys do this with such a "gentleness" that they make to seen easy but in the end they are human too, so .. allowed the make mistakes. Even with mistakes there arent in the world no other that compare to them
they're pretty good at recovering because they do a lot of training where they are asked to mess up so that they can practice falls and continuing if they can. These people though love what they do which is clearly shown when they get back up and continue going.
Juanjillocr: We went to see Ovo last night. It was very good indeed. The mix of costumes, music, and, of course, acrobatics amazes me. The last set of the show the "crickets" bounce off of trampolines and walk up a wall on their way up. Has to be seen to be fully appreciated. There's nothing like a live Cirque show. Thanks for the info on circus performer deaths. Easy to believe.
As a singer (Alegria) it is also hard but less dangerous of course .. but when you are sick. it's hard because we never playback ... That is why two singers. I remember the chili I had a voice removal. not good to sing. I could lose my voice spoke. Luckily I was very disciplined;)
wao!!! es increible saber que despues de todos esos golpes siguen con el show es admirable y este es el mejor circo de todooos :'D el tan solo verlos me llena de alegria y me inspira ;)
Tomorrow we are going to our sixth Cirque show and they have performed flawlessly. During Corteo, which was here in Portland in 2010, a performer fell during the chandelier acrobatics, in which they hang from chandeliers about 20 feet up (without nets or saftety lines). The performance had to be stop and the performer taken to the hospital. She survived, but was hurt rather badly. I wasn't at that performance. They make the dangerous and difficult look so easy.
I'm a dancer, so when we do "dance tricks" or have to learn a new step that's difficult, we pretty much look like that when we mess up. It's painful. :(
It's live, but not in just a show. Alegria, La Nouba, Mystere... shows that've been around since the 90's, the number of performances are counted not in hundreds but in thousands. La Nouba celebrated its 5,000th show four years ago. They're humans anyway, but they practice to make it perfect... it's more likely that they make it just perfect, than failing the act. That's how good they are.
I know by heart now ALEGRIA All the great artists (me consernant I never sing live in 6 years and believe me it is very hard alegria singing. It changes all the time ... For engineers singer is very hard. I got very often ears hurt. as Iam a perfectionist. technicians song did not like me too much. loll
well cirque du soleil acts are known 'cause of the perfection on the show; obviously all the performers make their biggest effort so that we can enjoy that amazing show; So they have to practice a lot ;but making this show it carries a lot of responsability of all the actors so its natural on the stage having this troubles but it continues being an amazing show of cirque du soleil
the reason I said it was because since there are a lot of the same camera angles and obviously they are wearing the same costumes it looks like it was taken at the same time... I know that cirque is the best and will forever be:)
I gotta say... some of those falls look like they would fucking HURT. all talent aside, I would applaud them just on their ability to keep going like nothing happened
Yes respect. :) I Know what s happening aft of the scene. acrobat and all are extremely concentrated before their passage stage. Russian bar, that's what makes me the most afraid! but all show.
The best part is that I had to really look to see the mistake on some of these! No one falls five stories without a net. THAT is something I don't want to see.
SI MUCHOS DE NOSOTROS NO HACEMOS ESE TIPO DE ACROBACIAS, Y MUCHOS COMO DEPORTISTAS TENEMOS INFINIDAD DE ERRORES; ELLOS DEDICAN SU VIDA A ESTE TIPO DE ACROBACIAS DONDE ARRIESGAN SU VIDA EN CADA PRESENTACIÓN....GRACIAS A DIOS QUE SON SERES HUMANOS MORTALES Y CORRUPTIBLES, Y QUE COMETEN ERRORES A DIARIO,... SI ASI NO FUERA... QUE SERIA DE NOSOTROS?....
I'm sure glad that they were lying when they said that their acrobats perform without wires or nets. Most of their performances have at least one spotter, and it appears that the people who perform aerial stunts do have nets and bungee cords to keep them from dying.
so, that's eight and a half minutes of mistakes, and half of those are repeated. Compared to the millions of hours they've performed thousands of acts all over the world, risking their lives to entertain. That kind of record has got to be as close to perfection as you can get.
you have to be kidding right? you happen to catch a bad luck show. I have been to 7 different shows, a total of 15 performances, and not once did i see a gaffe. even the best performers have an off day. but hey, 1 mistake negates the oodles of shows of perfection huh? tell me, have you ever made a single mistake at your job?
I feel soo guilty to laught for some little mistakes like the old bird falling on the crowd because there are no real consequences, but I'm really scared about the risks russian bars show involve...
Well...this differs from a dancer falling on stage. This was hard to watch. I'm sure many of these were rushed to the hospital. I know that one recently died from a 50 foot drop.
I don't know, but there was an accident in 2006 at Russian Bars with flyers Ivan Saveliev and Victor Bryndine (the two also appeared on the 2001 DVD and Solstrom). They say there was a lack of communication between them and the two collided. Ivan suffered a concussion and was knocked unconscious and Victor suffered multiple fractures to his leg. After that Ivan had to retire from his acrobat career, but he played Fleur a few times. And I don't know if Victor continued to present.
With the feats that these guys perform, over and over again, I'm just amazed that they don't make mistakes all the time. Their talent is beyond belief...

omg i thought bloopers from cirque didn't exist lol they are still the bests of the world!
After 8-10 show a week is tough for everyone insured. I fell on my ass mdrrrrr the first picture :)
These aren't bloopers.. These are the most awesome tricks you can find. Performers in Cirque du Soleil are amazing :)
Cirque du soleil's artists and performers are incredibly talented people. they are ALLOWED to make mistakes any time they want because their acts are really spectacular and highly risky. Soooo much respect for them!
With the stuff they do, it's surprisingly they don't make more errors and dangerous ones. Just shows how good they are.
Algunos no me parecen tan "bloopers" pudieron haberse herido de gravedad. Estas personas arriesgan mucho sus vidas y cuerpos en cada acto. Pero aun así, gracias por lo que hacen ;)
The talent and bravery of these people is astounding. I commend them on their almost inhuman strength and determination. Bravissimo!!!
CDS on its worst day, is better than any other on its best!
wow, pero pg nasa stage na sila super perfect na lahat! ;D
I've seen Alegria here in Lisbon-Portugal last december, and for the first time, after 7 shows that i've seen, i saw the first fail from Circe performers. The act... Russian Bars. Two times in a row ... I think that "fear" took advantage those the second fail. Luckely no one got hurt.

seems the fire dancers are most of the bloopers, still thou, its amazing.
I like seeing this blooper because it shows how human we are. And is not an embarrassing. instead like they said the show must continue on.
they're pretty good at recovering because they do a lot of training where they are asked to mess up so that they can practice falls and continuing if they can. These people though love what they do which is clearly shown when they get back up and continue going.

This is Cirque du Soleil! They do not hire "bad performers". You should try to do half of the stuff they do on stage every day!
As a singer (Alegria) it is also hard but less dangerous of course .. but when you are sick. it's hard because we never playback ... That is why two singers. I remember the chili I had a voice removal. not good to sing. I could lose my voice spoke. Luckily I was very disciplined;)
I liked very much your voice and your performance at the Cirque du Soleil. Many many respect for the job of all the artists.
wao!!! es increible saber que despues de todos esos golpes siguen con el show es admirable y este es el mejor circo de todooos :'D el tan solo verlos me llena de alegria y me inspira ;)
just proves that even the pros get things wrong but they still carry on
Wow! I thought these performers were actually from another world where gravity is 3G. Now, I see they're just humans, which is even more amazing.
They are usually so good, actually one of the best. I love to watch them, but apparently this was one of their rougher times.
ya its great especially if you see one during a show without noticing it!
Tomorrow we are going to our sixth Cirque show and they have performed flawlessly. im performer too, im really happy, not for the CDS's fails, just because i can see that everyone fall sometimes more even when you are trainning
THANK GOD THEY ARE MORTALS!!! I LOVE CDS!
I know by heart

PTDR... Je garde quand même des souvenir unique... mes fesses aussi lol. Bye
yisus, i just can't imagine the injuries :(
Ivan Saveliev of Russian Bars suffered a severe concussion during a show and had to retire, he has since played Fleur a few times
this kind of phisical activities require a strong level f focus, mind and body control..., any single distraction and something can go wrong....
Everytime I do not see the net and my heart just skips a beat...
It's a show! I see people in the audience everytime!
Am I the only one who thinks it hilarious?
Respect to them
I cringe when ever something like this happens, but no one is perfect, at least they will always get up and try again
still loving them ♥
poor nancy! whenever i see that blooper i cringe! the singer is the last one you would expect to have an accident
Those white bars... No wonder they cant get it right sometimes, they REALLY look hard to pull of!
CDS is still the best for me; and only shows that the dangers exist and they are humans after all.Still; keep up the good work guys!
the reason I said it was because since there are a lot of the same camera angles and obviously they are wearing the same costumes it looks like it was taken at the same time... I know that cirque is the best and will forever be:)
One of the Russian Bars flyers suffered a severe concussion during a performance and had to retire

Message for Guy laliberté il faut dire la vérité... Cirque du soleil For Guy Laliberté. Message subtitled in English. UA-cam
That's embarrassing i give these people a round of applause, then to get right back with it.
Yes respect. :) I Know what s happening aft of the scene. acrobat and all are extremely concentrated before their passage stage.
Russian bar, that's what makes me the most afraid! but all show.
Does anyone know if these are in dress rehearsals, or actual shows?
Always makes me sad to see performers mess up. :C
@ASKENT I agree. Anyone who laughs at someone else's mistake, especially if it causes such obvious physical pain, is pretty cruel.
this vid makes it look like cirque had a very bad day...
this is probs not all in ONE show it's probably scenes froms several shows that they did
son imprecionantes igual genial muy bien
translated
are just great great great geniallllll
theyre called russian bar and cds is cirque du soleil...
i dont mean to laugh but i just cant help it xD
Are these bloopers during a rehearsal or live show?
Some of those had the potential to be serious.
These are the most artful mistakes I've seen.
@Willowmelangel Who is CDS?
cuando parecía que todo era perfecto.... jajja nos hacen recordar que aun son tan humanos
Ah man I cringed at every single one of these accidents :( I cant help but feel terrible for them when it happens!
The show I saw today has 3 mistakes, and no injuries. In all cases, they just did the trick a 2nd time and moved on to bigger and better things.
The best part is that I had to really look to see the mistake on some of these! No one falls five stories without a net. THAT is something I don't want to see.
Where did u get these??
POR ESTAS RAZONES SON MARAVILLOSOS SON HUMANOS
Wait now the snow storm scene was supposed to happen. Is there something I am missing?
It's funny because they're messing up on the simple things, like dance moves, yet they get all the big tricks right.
One of the worse accidents : 1:32 I hope he did not harm himself...
wow all that happened in one show???
Not to be mean at all, but i had to LAUGH at the first one, when she sings and accidentally falls off the stage
Practice, practice, practice.....and more.

Omg, Ivan Saveliev
Oh, good, so they are human!
I'm sure glad that they were lying when they said that their acrobats perform without wires or nets. Most of their performances have at least one spotter, and it appears that the people who perform aerial stunts do have nets and bungee cords to keep them from dying.
Oh, wow! A CDS artist replayed my comment! :D Thanks and I'm glad to know you fell on your butt (assuming you didn't hurt) hehe
2:07 -was the only one i chuckled at. the rest could have been pretty bad had they landed wrong or didnt have safety nets or wires
so, that's eight and a half minutes of mistakes, and half of those are repeated.
Compared to the millions of hours they've performed thousands of acts all over the world, risking their lives to entertain.
That kind of record has got to be as close to perfection as you can get.
jesus, Im just glad noone died after watching this.
wow!!, they are humans!!!
you have to be kidding right? you happen to catch a bad luck show. I have been to 7 different shows, a total of 15 performances, and not once did i see a gaffe.
even the best performers have an off day.
but hey, 1 mistake negates the oodles of shows of perfection huh? tell me, have you ever made a single mistake at your job?
Pero ellos caen con estilo, jaja.
they are very good but if u can't even catch a simple ring then u don't deserve to be in this Cirque
Its not show belive its when their practicing but I may b wrong
OHHH Thank God, now I´m sure, they are human [iminent=FHLkhAgUWfOB]
_____________
¡Acabo de publicarte un cool emoticono!
OMG 3:05, I thought that was the floor!!
yikes! their "bloopers" could mean broken necks or worse. what a fabulous group
the wear and tear on their bodies must be tyring
alegria!
wow that really hurts to watch.
I feel soo guilty to laught for some little mistakes like the old bird falling on the crowd because there are no real consequences, but I'm really scared about the risks russian bars show involve...
omg some of them must have been hurt really bad...like the russian bars guys :\ omg
Well...this differs from a dancer falling on stage. This was hard to watch. I'm sure many of these were rushed to the hospital. I know that one recently died from a 50 foot drop.
The most pathetic is the ribbon girl getting all twisted up in her ribbon- an elegant fail.
At minute 1:00 someone knows if they are ok?
I don't know, but there was an accident in 2006 at Russian Bars with flyers Ivan Saveliev and Victor Bryndine (the two also appeared on the 2001 DVD and Solstrom). Damn they look so awkward on some of these. Hope nobody got hurt.
i know i shouldint but i did lol
