do a single layer in the air fryer. I don’t soak mine when I cook them. I coat them in veg oil season then in a single layer I cook them in batches 18 minutes on 400 and shake halfway through and they always come out crispy and delicious !

I make mine almost the same way! We don't use chicken, just the alfredo, I steam the broccoli and stir it in. Its DELISH!

Great video! You make such yummy meals! For the fries, we don't have an air fryer, so I'm not sure what to do for that; but we have a deep fryer, and what we do is partially deep fry them, then spread out on a cookie sheet and freeze them in a single layer. Then when you're ready to get dinner going, just pop them back in the deep fryer and OMG are they good! They taste just like McDonald's fries. Maybe try that with the air fryer? You are such a great Momma and Wife! Happy Birthday Andy! Stay safe! Lots of love from Iowa

When you soak the fries, add 1 tsp baking soda to water. And I'd fry the fries a few extra minutes.

I love you video's and I especially love that you put a taste of something on the plate that your kids don't like. I did that with my boys when they were young (now 22 and 18) But I called it a "courtesy" bite for the cook! I spent time making the meal and I expected them to take at least one bite of something they THOUGHT they would not like. Sometimes it was a fail and sometimes they were like, yeah I like this. Good job mom! Keep up the good work of expanding you kids palates!

Your meals look delish! Way to go. The homemade fries I bet if you put less in air fryer it would work better. Or rotate them more than shaking and heat longer. I try to load my fryer to but they come out crispy. Hope that works. Try again. Enjoy watching your meals.

You're putting way too many fries in your air fryer. They are basically steaming. The air cant circulate around them properly with that many in the basket.
