A guy like Hossa for the Blackhawks would be a dream. Hossa made the difference between winning cups and almost winning cups. I do not think the Hawks get that serious for a couple more years.
As a long time Blackhawks fan, I would like to see them in a position to draft Porter Martone in the 2025 draft. I am thinking long term and not the quick fix.
I'm a Dr....if he played and that clot mobilized he could suffer a blockage... stroke if it blocks arteries to brain or many problems if it goes to lungs. If he survived there'd be brain damage that would prevent him from playing perhaps permanently. Hence why the Dr's prevented him from playing

Ken Holland traded away their entire draft capitol for aged out players that either retired, or were bought out. The red wings also didn't win a single draft lottery. Even when they were 'supposed' to pick first, they fell three spots in the draft. I find it funny you say that Chicago's rebuild is over. Didn't they finish second last in the league this past season? Also, whiffing on this year's draft not hitting a homerun to get a legitimate running mate for Bedard in Demidov, has to be a real let down for your fanbase. Pretty sure that in order to "declare" your rebuild is over is when you are consistently making playoffs every year.

Actually yeah why not Mariner is not compared two Hossa as player into Chicago is perfect solution they should compromise I think would make sense otherwise it worth anything he ask for ?
