- It seems like not much has changed which hurts a little because this took a lot of time. But that's how we know we're getting close to the finish line for this room! The main things left are the CLOSETS! They are just awful right now. The space is not being utilized well. I think that will be a big emphasis for the next update... or not! Who's to say?

I love that you collect Hamtaro and Neopets, those are also two of my most beloved childhood franchises - I have a couple of shelves dedicated to them as well, though almost none of my original things that I owned as a kid, just mainly stuff I've re-purchased as an adult. They're both such cute series! And that Neopia rug you have is aaaa-mazing, I've never seen one before except in your videos, what a cool piece of merch!

Just a suggestion for your lps cuz you reorganize your collections a lot like I do. Use museum wax on their feet and put them on a thin little boards of plastic, acrylic or even cardboard or even wax them right down onto your risers hope that helps 😊
I even like to put down magnet strips for my lps that have magnets! Works super well

I'm planning on turning my Bedroom into a Doll Room, but the only thing I'm worried about are dust mites, dust, and spiders.
I'm here in Ireland and it's the battle against damp and mold ,which is not great when I'm into integrity 😮 if its your bedroom you can keep a close eye on things maybe ,regular little wipe downs .go for it, you might as well enjoy displaying what you have ❤
I adore your collection 😍 also maybe with the deep-set 'storage' units, you could use those battery click spot light things...or fairy lights of any of that made sense

Definitely before moving LPS shelf, take pictures of the display so you can put them back in order (not like you don't know by heart probably) but it save time

How do you deal with dust?
I think she said in another organizing video that dust doesn't often accumulate on her stuff so she doesn't really dust it!
It shows up occasionally (not really since I’ve moved here other than on top of some shelves) and I just get a wet washcloth and treat it. It’s never been much of an issue. I have always been very confused by how much I get this comment but perhaps I am fortunate in that my house doesn’t get very dusty? The only places that have gotten dusty in this house since I moved in have been on the half of the house that has the den and bedroom
@@xCanadensis That's awesome I guess living in different places affects the amount of dust that gets inside homes. Like I live in a dry, hot climate so maybe that's why. Thanks.
@@LeeDee5 when I lived in Houston as a kid I used to get quite a bit but that was a long time ago so idk if my memory is skewed? In New York I remember having a bit of dust when I moved out after everything had been on display for a year. I’m not sure if it’s my lifestyle or something but I don’t particularly have dust issues 😅 I don’t “dust” with a duster though because that’s incredibly silly- it just puts it in the air to return to the dolls. I use a wet washcloth if I notice anything anywhere in the house. My house was built in the 60’s or 70’s and is a ranch style. Not sure if that effects anything… I assume the biggest factor in my new place is that we completely replaced the AC and heater vents/units when we moved in
