My goodness Sylvia.. what a power and strength...I always used to love boxing as my friend was playing a nationals in under 19. I've seen him doing workout ..it impressed me..but I am 39 now..athletically built naturally and I followed your video very motivating..keep it up sis...God bless you always...❤
This is one of the best Shadow Boxing workouts I have found on UA-cam & I will continue to follow your page for more! Some constructive criticism- The 900 calorie burn is false advertising- our fitness trackers typically over estimate our calorie burn. I did this workout twice and only burned 350 calories which may still be an over estimation by my Apple Watch. We shouldn’t compare ourselves to others calorie burn as it is, but I think boasting this as a 900 calorie burn workout could actually steer people off track from reaching their fitness goals. Overall I loved the boxing work though!
thank you so much! yes I realized that - the truth is my watch was calibrated wrong and i realized that till after the fact . if you notice my other workouts on my channel have a caloric range (depending on age, weight, etc). i'm so happy though you enjoyed the workout and hope to see you in some other ones!
i got a 650 cal burnt, i think it also depends on how much footwork u do. she continuously keeps moving, so did i so yeah just wanted to put it out there...😃

I love this video! I've done it twice now. I take Krav Maga classes and a large part of that is boxing so thank you for giving me something to practice at home where I can work on my stamina and flow. This was fun and bad a** with a girlie vibe which I loved
definitely not a 900 calorie burning workout but did enjoy it. I performed it after a 15 minute jump rope session which means my heart rate was already up there and still did not burn nearly as much. My fitness tracker read 370 calories after i finished. Would say it is rather impossible that she actually burned 900 cal considering she is also waaay lighter than me. It was really fun though!

This is something I will try, just found your channel, awesome btw. The jumping lunges are probably a no go, as I'm 42, 250lbs with arthritis in my right knee. But this is great cardio for me.
happy to have you here!!! 👊👊 you can always do regular reverse lunges and even go partial range of motion ! do the best that you can do Aaron. All movement , even if it's not jumping , is worth it. I also have non jumping workouts on my channel too! can't wait to know how you do
Excellent routine, great form training. But like so many of these boxing videos, you're demonstrating a southpaw stance. It would be helpful if you could integrate orthodox into the program as well.
Great quick workout! Got my heart rate up to the 160 zone which was fantastic! But active calories 103; total calories 127. LOL! That aside, I love the cardio and will follow a few more of these workouts.
Here's my review after me and the wife did this workout....keep in mind I'm almost 40 about 50 lbs overweight and have some health issues my wife is in her 20s and slightly overweight The good- definitely a good solid workout I was dripping with sweat by the end and so was my wife I can definitely see myself dropping some weight if I did this 5 times a week also my legs have a good burn but aren't over stressed The bad- my wife who has always been large breasted even in shape commented about how all the jumping made her breasts hurt. The warm up was brutal Conclusion- it's a fairly simple workout the instructor explains how to do the exercises effectively and is encouraging. If you are an older person or have joint issues you will most likely need to modify some of the exercises. All in all it was a good workout and I would recommend it and do it again.

Just hit 40 ugh Can't say I've always been fit but can hang in a basic crowd. I noticed I did some shadowboxing a few days ago and the next day I was sore for a few days. I was like whaat I can't say that's happened doing shadow work. Anyway looking to get back in the mix If it takes some UA-cam videos or a trip to the gym I'm game. Not getting any younger. I'll try this video out and see how I feel.

May l ask how can l reach a high metabolism like you? As l have been doing boxing for 2 years and l did my best in this boxing tutorial, however l only burn 100 calories, how can l burn 900 calories?
Hi, I only burned 126 cal but there’s other videos like grow with Joe that are 800+ I’ve tried videos with the highest calories and it always seems to stay around three 400 so I was wondering the same thing like is my watch wrong, but my husband said like when I was weed eating pouring sweat you know I’m just being calculated as walking, so maybe that’s kind of part of it either way does work out is kick ass for 20 minutes I’ve not sweat like this in any of my hour videos of done with other people

@@eboy8875 from what I know to lose weight/fat you have to be in a calorie deficit, which you can do through exercise and/or diet. So this surely helps since it burns calories, but it might not always be enough (Not an expert but hope this helps😊)

@@nxha3897 depending on a lot of factors i would say any where between 200-400 cals (age height weight current activity level etc). yea go for it!

i actually do everything in orthodox . it's seems southpaw bc the mirror image of the camera. but i'm so happy you enjoy the training!!!

Just hit 40 ugh Can't say I've always been fit but can hang in a basic crowd. I noticed I did some shadowboxing a few days ago and the next day I was sore for a few days. I was like whaat I can't say that's happened doing shadow work. Anyway looking to get back in the mix If it takes some UA-cam videos or a trip to the gym I'm game. Not getting any younger. I'll try this video out and see how I feel.

May l ask how can l reach a high metabolism like you? As l have been doing boxing for 2 years and l did my best in this boxing tutorial, however l only burn 100 calories, how can l burn 900 calories?

Hi, I only burned 126 cal but there’s other videos like grow with Joe that are 800+ I’ve tried videos with the highest calories and it always seems to stay around three 400 so I was wondering the same thing like is my watch wrong, but my husband said like when I was weed eating pouring sweat you know I’m just being calculated as walking, so maybe that’s kind of part of it either way does work out is kick ass for 20 minutes I’ve not sweat like this in any of my hour videos of done with other people

@@eboy8875 from what I know to lose weight/fat you have to be in a calorie deficit, which you can do through exercise and/or diet. So this surely helps since it burns calories, but it might not always be enough (Not an expert but hope this helps😊)
