You didn't opened the created staging site because I'm doing the same but the created staging site not running. There is message "This site can't be reached". What I'm doing wrong here.
Hello! Thank you for a great tutorial. I am wondering after finishing my new website I did in a staging environment in a subdomain, how can I migrate everything to the real domain?
At 5:34 minute you said you would review the two options of the Push to Live feature, but you only reviewed the first one... by the way, good tutorial. Thanks.
Yes, an easy way would be to allow access only to your public IP address. Here's a tutorial - chemicloud.com/kb/article/allow-deny-access-website-using-htaccess/
Thanks for your feedback, Den! That's correct, Softaculous recently modified their interface. However, once you're in the Softaculous dashboard, click on the Installations tab then you will be able to see the option to create a staging under the Options column. Hope it helps!
@@jamesdavis8731 Hey James! I apologize for the delay. Here's a screenshot of where you can find the Installations tab - www.dropbox.com/s/x1w9uxx2ei14a58/2022-05-16_10-42-10.png?dl=0

thank you so much..love u
Is there some way to make the staging site permanent and still keep the live site without any changes?
Do you know how to make the staging website private (I mean so clients cannot access our development environment)?

I think the dashboard on softaculous is different now. Cannot find staging Wordpress section anymore.
