Is the driving test like a guarantee Ive got my medical and that coming up and thinking do i quit my job to come here but if fail they not going to keep you on are they
Hi mate. I've got my medical with Stagecoach on Tuesday. Not worried about learning to drive the buses but I am a little worried about the route learning side of things. When you first start do they try and keep you on the same route or do they expect you to learn quite a lot very quickly? Worried I'll take a wrong turn or something haha
HI mate I work for stagecoach and I'm just about to sign onto service since passing my test, in my experience I think it can be quite sporadic. The first week for me it was kind of learning how to learn how to efficiently remember the routes. DM me I'll give you some tips that helped me.
@@kylescott3420 here in Stroud they give you a taste of everything they tend to put focus on the more frequent routes if that makes sense? But here they move you around the routes just to show you the variety and differences between them all, wrong turns happen very often so there is nothing to be worried about when it comes to that, just pick yourself up and right your wrong in the safest way possible. Best of luck with the medical, hope it all goes well!!
@@joelgrys5345thanks for the reply. I'd DM but not sure you can on YT haha as long as they don't expect me to know a route within a day or 2 and just throw me out on it im sure i'll be fine. I'm based at a depot 10 minutes away from me so i'm sure i'll know the areas at least
